Chapter 10
Silly Speaking Situation
Takatsu felt the ferret's fur brush against his legs. He shifts his gaze slowly down to his feet; only to see the now healed ferret.
"You!" Takatsu shouts, pointing at the ferret.
But the ferret didn't seem to notice Takatsu's shock as it started wandering around the living room. It jumps from the floor up to the coffee table, and then pounces on the telephone.
As it is sniffing at the mysterious glowing lava lamp on the other side of the coffee table, Takatsu suddenly realizes how ungrateful and rude the ferret had been to him. He did save its life after all.
"Excuse me? That's quite rude." Takatsu says scolding he ferret with a pointing finger. Then he pulls back. "Wait, why am I talking to a ferret? I must be dreaming, this is too weird..."
