hello, here is a little tutorial on how to use lighting textures on your cover or graphic.
> lighting textures are used for creating a glow in your cover
> they are used to give a neater look to your graphic

step 1: add the texture over all your layers but before the psd

it is going to look something like this; the color has changed because of the psd used.

step 2: go to normal and select soft light

and done, this is the final piece with the lighting texture added

tip: you can change the brightness & contrast of the texture to make it appear stronger or else you can also turn it black and white [which gives a better look honestly]. you can change the hue & saturation if you want to change the color of the texture. I prefer to play around with the settings until it looks perfect so its your choice.
