So here is a way how to do model shadow, it is similar to outline but way more easier. again i find this pretty for teen fiction/light covers because it gives a minimalistic look to it. follow the steps down below to achieve the model shadow.


step 1: start off with duplicating the model [always duplicate your model]

step 2: go to blending option and select color overlay, choose whatever color you want

step 2: go to blending option and select color overlay, choose whatever color you want. I am taking a white color so it all blends together. and then click ok. so now it is going to look something like this. 

step 3: move the color layer underneath the model

step 4: using the arrow keys on your keyboard move the shadow to the left or right

and you are done. you now have a model shadow/outline don't know what to call it x
