{Louis' POV}

I still can't believe what happened yesterday. I couldn't shut up about to Zayn during the walk home after school that day. It was because Harry decided to help me out when I was trying to get my beverage unstuck from inside the vending machine during lunch. He even used his only dollar that he was gonna use for his own drink, for me. Then afterwards, Harry was running from someone and we accidentally brushed shoulders. I noticed he had gazed at me longer than I expected him to as he apologized. I refrained from melting inside, but I couldn't help it.

* Flashback *

"So we're gonna go to the skate park after school Friday right?" Zayn asked hopefully as we exited the cafeteria.

I finished the last of my Arizona tea and crushed the can hard enough with my hand that it had an hourglass figure. "Yes we are. It'll get me away from my sisters. Spent too much time around them lately."

Zayn just laughs and pats me on the back. Out of nowhere, I feel someone bump into me from behind, and they didn't even realize that they did. Zayn was as appalled as I was.

"Whoa, wait a minute. Isn't that-" Zayn began to say.

I had the urge to yell at the person who obviously didn't see where they were going, but once they turned around, I caught my breath, and my heart literally stopped beating. It was Harry. He stopped in his tracks for a second & had a totally concerned look on his face once his emerald green eyes met my eyes. Everyone else was oblivious to what just happened, as was I oblivious to them.

"Oh I'm sorry!" he apologized, with his hands out in defense like he broke something fragile.

"It's cool." I reassure him. Zayn immediately smiled and pointed at Harry as he continue running down the hallway and turned the corner.

"Wow." Zayn finally said, laughing again.

"Yeah, wow." I agree, still stunned. Right then, my cheeks grew warm.

"What are the odds, huh? This is like the fourth time you guys made any contact or some conversation this whole entire year. It's a record!" He teased me.

I shrug, looking down sadly at my feet. "Yeah, but I bet it's just a coincidence."

"Don't be modest Lou. It's so NOT a coincidence."

"I guess so." I couldn't help but smile like an idiot at that point, and for the rest of the day.

* Flashback over *

"Louis!" I snapped out of my thoughts, remembering I was in history class. I was caught day dreaming, again. How embarrassing. Not only I'm the class clown, but I'm slowly becoming known as the one who can't pay attention in class for one minute.

"Sorry, Mr. Taylor." I took notice of a few eyes taking their glances away from me. From the corner of my eye, I caught Harry looking at me longer than the others, just like he did several weeks ago. Every time he did that, it made me feel all tingly inside, but I don't understand why he would look at me longer than everyone else.

"Hey, you still thinking about it?" Zayn leaned toward me, whispering.

I give him a guilty smile. "Yup." I pop the letter 'p' with my lips.

"You got it bad my friend." He smirked, sitting upright in his desk.

Zayn was right. I did have it bad, so bad. Although, I couldn't help but think that this was all just coincidental, like Harry was just being friendly, trying to come off as a good person. He doesn't actually want to know me and become friends; it's only because he started acknowledging me and of course he's not going to act like a dick to someone he just began talking to.
