My new school.
It has only been a few weeks ago that I stole a letter which belonged to me from Aunt Annie's bedroom. If it had been up to her, I wouldn't be going to this school at all. It wasn't until recently that I found out from my Uncle that I was a witch and apparently my mother and father were as well.
Well...my dad was a wizard since the term which is for females...
From a young age, I was told by those around me that my parents died in a car crash with another family's car. The accident took both sets of parents' lives. Now, I've been told that they didn't die in an accident, in fact, they died at the hand of one of their own. A man whose name is never spoken because of the fear it inflicts.
It was all pretty overwhelming for about a few weeks before I got excited once more about the unknown. Taking the letter out form my handbag once more, I re-read the slightly faded words once more.

UNIFORM
First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)
