Think happy thoughts

To make the days pass by

Then lay in your bed

At night and cry

Smile at their faces

But frown when they look away

Do anything to make it

Through another day

Drowning in your thoughts

Consumed by your mind

Trying to make it through

One step at a time

"This life is worth living"

You tell yourself aloud

Just waiting for the sunlight

To break through the clouds

But why are you waiting?

You can make your own light

A flashlight, a candle

To brighten up the night

Bad times come easy

And good times pass fast

So make each second count

And every minute last
