It’s late, maybe around two in the morning. Whoever’s idea was it to camp out and have a drinking session in the beach was a genius. A little tipsy, a little sleepy, but Taehyung manages to isolate himself, far from his drunken hyungs, with Jungkook. The one he promised to watch the stars with.
And now that it’s finally turning into reality, he can’t help his heart skip a few beats from time to time. The wind blows colder, the waves grow fainter, the stars are twinkling so brightly for the two of them, Jungkook is smiling. And then,
“Did you see that shooting star?” Jungkook says excitedly.
“Hey, no fair, I wasn’t looking that time.”
Jungkook giggles, “We’re stargazing, Taehyung, you’re supposed to look at the stars.”
“Well, it’s a different star I’m seeing tonight.” And then Taehyung kisses the younger’s cheek.
“Huh, my wish came true.” Jungkook smiles brightly, and Taehyung thinks, yeah, Jungkook surely does shine brighter than any star in his cosmos.
