It's been about a couple months since we got our base built. I was laying in my room with Liz laying next to me asleep. I got an odd feeling.  I got out of bed and grabbed my gun and head up to the monitoring room.  I know that Ben, James, and Hunter made an alarm system. I made it to the monitoring room seeing Hunter is asleep.

"Hunter," I said, shaking him awake.

"Oh, hey. What are you doing up?" he asked.

"Strange feeling," I said bluntly.

"Right. You came to see if something is outside or message from any survivors?" Hunter asked but already knew the answer to it.  He started to type away on the computer. I looked at the screen, hoping something is out there, "Sorry but nothing came up," he said.

"Thanks, " I said, walking out of the room. I made my way to the party room.  To fine something to help me sleep.  I walked into the party room when the alarms was going off. I ran back up to the monitoring room, "What's happening?" I asked.

"Walkers are attacking and I think some survivors are out there," Hunter said, looking at the screen.

"Well, we got to help them," I said, running out of the room and went to grab a weapon or two. I ran up to the false floor. I got into position to take out anything.  I took a deep breath and steady the sniper rifle. I took a shot killing four dead. The walking dead turn towards me. I sighed and get ready to take the next shot.

"Sam!" I heard someone call my name. I have to focuses or else I could kill a survivor. 

BANG!

The shot went right through. About ten minutes, I killed all of them. I walked over to the survivors. They walked up to me timidly. I smiled at them, trying to be friendly.

"Thank you," an older lady said, taking my hand and shook it.

"Anytime but what brings you to these parts?" I asked.

"We heard that there was a bunker here," said a tough looking guy.

"Well there is," I said crossing my arms.

"There was a group that we was in. They didn't take precautions to keep everyone safe. So, we left," The guy said.

"And you want to stay here. What can you bring to the table?" I asked, taking my role more serious.

"I'll tell you leader," he said

"Well, speak," I said.

"But you're a girl," he said, glancing over me.

"What got a problem with it?" I asked, venom laced my voice.

"No. No. I didn't mean it that way," He said, quickly.

"Okay. So what can you do to contribute to the group?" I asked, getting a little annoyed.

"I can repair cars," The guy said.

"I can plant vegetables and other plants," the older women. I looked behind them to see the kids. I heard a growl. I looked behind me to see Alpha.

"Stand down Alpha," I order. The black wolf stop growling but move closer to me.

"You have a wolf," the guy said, standing in front of the kids.

"Yeah, we rescued three wolves and a German Shepard," I said, petting Alpha's head. The kids saw Alpha and came running towards him.  Alpha stood absolutely still. The kids started to pet him. I smiled at this, "We better get inside. Do you have any stuff that you brought with you?" I asked them.

"We brought some food and a car," the guy said.

"Let's get inside," I smiled, walking them to their car. I looked around to make sure it's clear. We made it to their car. They got in the car I walked in front of the car to show them how to get into base. We made it inside of the base. I walked them up to the infirmary. I press the com system to get Alice up here.

We waited for a few minutes before Alice got up here. She looked me over then the rest of the survivors.

"SAM!" I heard someone yelled my name. I looked toward the voice and see Liz looking pissed.

"Hey, babe," I said shyly, rubbing the back of my head.

"DON'T 'HEY, BABE' ME. WHAT THE HELL WHERE YOU THINKING!" Liz yelled.

"People lives where at stake. I couldn't wait," I said, looking at the floor. I felt a warm embrace.

"I'm sorry. I just can't lose you," She smiled at me.

"I know, " I said, kissing her.

"Get a room," We heard some called out. We looked over to see Hunter in the doorway.

"We are in one," I chuckled. I looked over at the family, that joined our group, "So, what's your names?" I asked.

"I'm AJ. This is my wife, Morgan, these are my kids, Dan, Sally," AJ introduce himself and his family. I nodded.

"The living quarters are on the third level. There rooms for you and your family," I said. I looked at Alice for an approval for them to leave. She nodded and they followed her down to the living quarters. I looked at Liz.

"Sam. You know you have people to work with. You don't have to do this alone," She said, rubbing my arms.

"I know. It just a habit. It's kind of hard to break," I smiled at her.

"Okay. Let's get some sleep," Liz said, pulling me down to our room.

 Sam's Journal

After Liz went over seas. I fell in with some shady people. I became a hitman or hit women. I became very good at my job. I plan and strategies every out come. I was very skilled with every weapon. It was hard for the police to find me or track me. They always seem one hundred steps behind me.  

After about two years or so. I got a latter saying my girlfriend is coming home. I dropped everything to meet her. I waited for what seems like forever. Once I caught a glimpse of her. I took of running. I never been more happier then I was at that moment.   I still haven't told what I did when she was over seas and I like to keep that way.
