The girl behind the closed door,
Is the one you don't know.
She is not the girl she seems,
Nobody knows the way she feels.
You don't know the way she cries,
And about her sleepless nights.
So many words unsaid,
She wants someone who will understand.
There was nothing around her but loneliness,
And she was tired of this emptiness.
She felt she was not good enough,
Maybe that is why her life was so rough.
The girl behind the closed door,
Is the one you don't know.
You don't know about the scars she hides,
And about the pills she takes every night.
She thinks that nobody cares,
And the world will be better if she won't be there.
She wants someone who will give her time and importance,
Someone who will understand her pain and silence.
People treat her like she doesn't exist,
And that's something she can't resist.
She is tired of her own soul,
Trying to fit in the world that is so cruel.
This is truth about the girl behind the closed door,
The one you thought you knew.
