When I asked him
"Who do you want to spend your life with?"
He said her name
It killed me inside
Because I would have given him everything
To say mine
I wanted him to see
The pain in my eyes
But he didn't even notice
That he is all i need
I saw his eyes
How they shined
When he said her name
He told me all about about her
That how she makes him happy
And how she is all he wants
And all he needs
I smiled at him
But inside my heart shattered
I'm happy for him
But I wished his happiness was with me
It broke me inside
And i remember
how much I cried
That night
Because the way he loved her
Was the same way I loved him
All i wanted was him to love me like that
But his love was not for me
Maybe friends what we will only be
