You follwed the untended garden
path,
into this desolate and barren wilderness
of the red sun eye
~ Blazing ~
waves of ocean heat rise out of the soil;
It sees the lost path between the foot prints,
It sees breath evaporate,
like a thought in the river forgotten.
Moon lights open their mouths too wide
ripping skin at the corners
over the creaking and groaning of hinges,
ground silver bones dissolve in the aether.
Whispers of the coming night, flood
ossicles, divining oracles, shaking erect
in the warm bath as cilia bends
and waves in the flush like coral in a
current.
You were snowblind in the heat.
It reached for you...tenuously... its grip
slipped through your wrist;
you heard the wagging of its lips,
spheres of spittle settled on your lobes
awakening the red torrential colours, hues in
spears raising up from the sun whorling at the centre of you;
the silver thread ablaze in the aether...
