Chapter 18

I make my way to Michelle and I's room. I quietly open the door in case she was sleep. I look at the bed and see that she's wide awake reading her book

"What happened?" she says as soon as she saw me walk in the door. I take my hoodie off and sit on the bed in front of her. I look down at my hands

"I killed him" 

"What?" 

I look up at her "I killed him. Snapped his neck"

"Why did you do that?" 

"A part of me didn't think he was human. He was definitely possessed or something. But he did something that made me kill him. I was able to tap into his mind and he had a knife in his jacket. He was going to kill me. Right then and there. I had to-" I start to sob. She puts her book down beside her and she hugs me

"He didn't deserve it but I had to do it" I sob more

"He was the only blood relative I could trust. But they tricked him. Selfish pricks"

I sit up and wipe my tears 

" Why don't you get some sleep. You had a rough night" Michelle suggest and I nod my head. I look for my phone and grab it

" I need to call Tony" I say as I make my way to the bathroom. As soon as I close the door I dial his number

Y/N?

"He's dead" is the first thing I said

Wait what? Who's dead?

"My brother. Ryder. I killed him" I start to cry again " He was going to kill me Tony. I didn't feel guilty when I did it either. Now I feel horrible"

I slide down the bathroom door sobbing again

It wasn't your fault Y/N. You had to do it

"But I killed the only blood I have left" 

Can you do something for me 

"Mhm" 

I want you to forget about what happened tonight and get some rest. You have to be ready if they put you in the Decathlon

I sniffle "Okay"

It's going to be okay Y/N/N. I love you 

"Love you too Tony" I say. I hear him hang up first. I set my phone down and breathe. Then I remembered that Peter was still out there fighting those guys. I grab my phone and walk out the bathroom. Michelle is still reading her book

"I'll be back" I quickly say to her as I walk out the door. I make my way to Peter and Ned's room and knock on the door. About a minute later I see Ned at the door.

"Where is he?" I ask him. He pulls me into their room and shuts the door 

"He hasn't came back yet?" he tells me 

"What about his tracker?" I ask

"He took it out"

"He what?" 

"He didn't want anyone following him"

"This is the exact reason why we put a tracker in his suit"

"Wait. You helped make his suit?"

"I basically made it. Tony added a little touches to it. But the tracker was both of our ideas because of his age"

" Cool" 

I glare at him

"He's probably on his way back now. Shouldn't you be a sleep right now?"

"Shouldn't you?"
