Peter lets me down gently
"Stay here. I'll be right back" He says then I see him jump onto a car. It's Flash and his date in the car. Peter takes his car and drives off. I teleport in the car and he gets scared and starts to swerve more than he's doing now
"Don't do that!" He yells at me
" Sorry" I say. I then start to realized that he can't drive
"Uh Pete I think you should let me drive"
"No way I got this" he says as soon as he hits a row of bikes
"Are you sure about that?!" I yell at him
" Hello, Ned? Hey, hey, hey, hey, can you hear me?" Peter says as he calls Ned on Flash's phone. I look a head of us and see Sapphire
"I'll be back!" I yell to Peter then I teleport in front of her. She jumps back
"Now that I have you alone... you're going to answer some of my questions" I tell her
She nods her head
" Why was I born with these powers?"
" We don't know. All we know is that these stones are very powerful and that when you were born you had a piece of each one in your system. We worked with some bad people and they knew that you were born this way. We were selfish and we left you so they wouldn't know that you were our daughter. We could have died i-"
I cut her off by pushing her into the concrete wall behind her "I could have died! If those people found me I wouldn't be here right now and if you two didn't make me into a science experiment like you're not telling me then none of this would have happened!"
"We only wanted what was best..." she paused
"For us" she said then she smirked
I used one of my abilities and snap her neck. Her body falls to the ground and I make it disappear
"That wasn't how I expected that to happen" I say to myself (A/N Honestly that was terrible. Smh)
"Now to help my Peter" I say to my self and I teleport to where Peter is. Just as I do I see a car sliding down the road towards me. I teleport away from it just in time. It screeches to a stop. Peter looks over at me
" Yeah. Just keep trying to get through to Happy" I hear him says then he jumps out the car and makes his way over to me. He grabs my hand and we make our way to the building
"Can you teleport us to the roof?" He asks me in a whisper. I nod my head
We teleport to the roof. Peter walks to a window that goes into the building. He opens it and he grabs me by my waist again
" Hang on" he whispers as we start to descend into the building. Once we make it to the bottom he lets go of me. We look around and see that room is filled with computers and gadgets. Monitors showing Avengers Tower and the blueprint of Tony's plane. Peter spots a suit behind us
"What the hell?" I whisper
" That's Liz's dad's suit. He's the Vulture" Peter explains to me
"He's a bad guy" he says and I chuckle a little
Both of us spot a hallway. I teleport to it and Peter swings towards it. I start walking but he grabs my wrist
"Let me be the hero today" He says and I nod my head. I let him walk ahead of me
"Hey! Surprised?" Peter yells
A man turns around and I recognize him. He was the guy who "shot" my parents when I was a kid
"Oh, hey, Pete. I didn't hear you come in. See you got a friend"
"It's over. I've got you" Peter says as he starts to walk towards the guy. I slowly follow behind
" You know, I gotta tell you, Pete, I really, really admire your grit. I see why Liz likes you. I do. When you first came to the house, I wasn't sure. I thought, "Really?" But I get it now"
"How could you do this to her?"
"To her? I'm not doing anything to her, Pete. I'm doing this for her"
"Huh, yeah"
Peter shoots his web and glues Vulture's left hand against the desk
"Do you remember me?" I finally speak up "You were the one who shot my parents when I was a kid"
" I do remember you. You're parents did say you were going to be great. I heard they were back in town"
"They're dead"
*Third Person POV*
Toomes ignores Y/N comment and turns his attention back to Peter
"Peter, you're young. You don't understand how the world works" he says
"Yeah, but I understand that selling weapons to criminals is wrong" Peter responds
"How do you think your buddy Stark paid for that tower? Or any of his little toys? Those people, Pete, those people up there, people like your little friend, the rich and the powerful, they do whatever they want. Guys like us, like you and me, they don't care about us. We build their roads and we fight all their wars and everything, but they don't care about us. We have to pick up after 'em. We have to eat their table scraps. That's how it is. I know you know what I'm talking about, Peter" Toomes says and Y/N looks over at Peter
*Y/N's POV*
"Why are you telling me this?" Peter asks
"Because I want you to understand. And... I needed a little time to get her airborne"
The Vulture takes a knife out of his pocket just as his suit flies from behind Peter and I. Peter flips over it and I drop to the ground
The wing suit continues to attack Peter but he avoids it with quick movements
"I'm sorry, Peter" Toomes says
"What are you talking about? That thing hasn't even touched me yet"
"True. Then again, wasn't really trying to" Toomes says and just then the building collapses on top of Peter and I
