Mall

I wait as Cesar and Monse exit the car and begin to head towards the mall.

"No wait Alma. You wanna come" Monse smiles looking at Oscar.

Oh no please say no.

"Naa I can't you kids go have fun" Oscar  smiles.

Phew thank god.

"noo Oscar come on it'll be fun" Monse begs putting her head through the car window.

"Alright fine" He smiles as he exits his car.

His response causes me to roll my eyes.

We watch as he exits the car with a big smile on his face.

"Ugh" I sigh as we begin to head inside.

Oscar walks after me and places his arm around me.

"The mall. Mir amor" He smiles staring at the building we stood in front of.

"Excuse me" I whisper pushing his arm away.

"What? I thought you said it was fine to be friends" Oscar whines.

"I only said it was fine not that I wanted to" I sigh and Cesar places his arm around me.

"Give him a chance" Cesar smiles squeezing my cheek.

We turn out heads to see Monse giggling.

She motions to me and Cesar.

Monse is obsessed with us.

I roll my eyes as Cesar quickly takes his arm off me.

"Fine. Friends? " I smile putting my hand out.

He nods as he shakes my hand.

Monse stops walking and points to a store.

"Let's goo" Monse squeals grabbing my hand.

We spent an hour going in and out of shops. Monse complained she couldn't find a perfect dress.

"Stop" I whisper placing my hands on Monse's shoulder.

"You will look beautiful in any dress. Let's go and try that one over there" I smile pointing to a manequin in a  store.

She looks at he store and looks back at me.

"That's kinda cute." Monse smiles as we enter and I nod in agreement.

"It is isn't it? It'll look cuter on you." I smile gesturing her to the changing rooms.

"Okay" She squeals running into the changing rooms.

I tighten my pony tail and take a seat.

"Go try this on" Oscar smiles throwing me a dress.

I look at him in confusion.

"I have enough clothes Oscar. Why would I need this?" I question.

"For our first date as friends of course" he laughs.
