He sighs heavily before answering. "I think that we were the only two around at the time and with our families being friends, it was kind of just common sense that we would make our way to each other."

This made me feel a little better. It made whatever was happening between us seem justified. I turn around in his arms, facing him in the shower.

"Thank you for telling me," I say. I reach my hand up to his face, tipping my head back and bringing his face down to mine to plant a small kiss.

"Of course," he replies, and I give him another kiss. When he parts from the kiss, he looks down at me, keeping his hands on my lower back.

"You do know that I love you, right" He says, his eyes staring at the wall behind me. I keep my hands on his face, trailing a water droplet on his cheek. I nod slowly.

"Say it out loud," he says in a haunted voice. I look up at him with a small smile.

"I know that you love me." Saying it out loud made it real.

"Good," he sighs as if this was a weight off of his shoulders and leans down and kisses me on my forehead. "Thank you."

"Come on, it's really late," I say and reach behind him to turn off the water faucet.

We step out of the shower, drying ourselves off with the remaining last two towels in the bathroom.

I begin grabbing my toothbrush and toothpaste, quickly wiping the mirror in front of me and getting a quick look at myself. My hair was slicked back, and my cheeks and neck were flushed pink, unsure if they're like this because of the hot shower or because of Zac.

"Shit!" he exclaims, and I look at him, frothing at the mouth with toothpaste.

"What?" I try and say, but it was muffled.

"I should really put a toothbrush in here for me," he says. I rinse off my toothbrush, spitting out the excess from my mouth.

"Use mine," I say after washing out my mouth with water. I hand it to him and his face pinches. "Oh, come on! You've used it before," I rationalise.

"People would think that this is so gross," he says, putting the toothbrush in his mouth.

"Well I was just sitting on your face ten minute ago, I think sharing a toothbrush would be okay," I tell him and laugh when he chokes trying to laugh with toothpaste in his mouth. He begins coughing and I pat his back gently as he coughs over the sink. It reminded me of the first time we met, and he was eating cereal.

"That's... very true," he says and laughs again. He smiles this wide grin that was barely a grin. It was more of a way to show me his teeth. "Clean?" he asks.

"Clean," I respond and lean up on my toes to plant a small kiss on his cheek.

I stoop down to pick up our clothes. I keep a towel wrapped around my body and his towel hung dangerously low on his hips, showcasing that V that dips down into his pants, and then walk out of the bathroom, feeling Zac's presence behind me following me to my bedroom.

"Did you need a pair of pants?" I ask, making a mental note to keep some of his clothes in my room if he was going to stay in here.

"I'll be okay," he says, and his hands wrap around my waist. His head dips down to the crook of my neck and I could feel his warm breath on my cool skin. Water droplets were forming on my shoulder from my short hair and I could feel him kiss one of the water droplets on my shoulder. With that one touch I was already breathing heavily. Everything south of me contracted and I wanted him again, so badly.
