"Colby." I whispered as he looked up at me. In his hand was a little black ring box, which sent chills down my spine.

"Violet. Since the day I met you I knew that we had this indescribable connection. We fell hard and we fell fast, even if it didn't make any sense. Since that trip to West Virginia you've been the most important person in my life." Colby said as my heart raced in my chest.

"We've had our ups and downs but we always find our way back to eachother." He said as I brought my hand to my chest. "I love you so much, and there's nobody I would rather spend the rest of my life with." He said then opened the ring box.

Inside the box was a silver band diamond ring. The band was encrusted with small black and regular diamonds on each side with a big clear round one in the middle.

It was absolutely gorgeous.

"Violet Renee Richards, will you marry me?" Colby asked as I looked at him in shock for a second. I felt like I was going to pass out from how much my heart was racing.

I knew I loved Colby and I knew he loved me but this was insane. We were broken up for longer than we were actually together. It seemed crazy to jump into something like this.

I thought about how happy I have been since we've been back together though. Being with him made me happier than anything in the world.

We were meant to be.

"Yes." I whispered as a smile bloomed on his face. "Yeah?" He asked as I nodded quickly. "Yes!" I repeated as he stood up and put the ring on my finger, then pulled me in for a kiss.

This kiss was different than any other kiss we have had. This one was so magical and so full of love that I thought my heart was actually going to explode.

Colby pulled away then smiled at me as I looked at the ring on my finger. "I can't believe you!" I said with a wide smile. "Do you like it?" He asked as I nodded. "I love it. I love you." I said then grabbed his cheeks and kissed him again.

He held me tightly then lifted me up and spun around. I pulled my lips back and laughed as he spun.

After a couple seconds he set me on my feet then ran over and grabbed the camera that I didn't notice was a couple feet away. "You filmed that?" I asked with amazement as he stopped the camera.

"I was really banking on you saying yes." He said with a laugh then put the camera in his pocket. "Did you think I would say no?" I asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I was a little nervous." He admitted as I nodded. "I do have commitment issues." I said as he grabbed the blanket we brought up here and spread it out. "I know, baby. I'm not gonna hurt you though." He said as we sat down.

"Does anyone know this is what you've been planning?" I asked and cuddled into him as we looked up at the sky. "Sam knows, but that's it. I couldn't trust anyone else to keep it a secret." He said as he tightened his grip on me.

"That was probably smart. The girls are gonna freak out." I said then looked at the ring again. I don't think it was going to set it for a long time that wearing this ring meant I would be marrying the love of my life.

"We're really young though..." I said quietly as reality set in. "I know, we don't have to get married any time soon, I just wanted to make it official." He said then kissed my cheek as I pulled out my phone.

"I love you so fucking much." I said then took a couple pictures of the ring, then a couple pictures of the northern lights. "I love you too, baby. I always will." He said then smiled as I took a picture of us with me holding my left hand up.
