Another legacy born with tragedy flowing through their veins. Another legacy burdened with power. Another legacy broken inside. Another legacy to continue the tragic pattern, after all, everything has its cost.

Aurora Layla Black grew up away until one kidnapping changed everything, a kidnapping where she saw her eldest shoot, someone, four times and suddenly she was ripped away from the non-violent inner walls of emotional abuse into the walls of the deadliest and more powerful family alive, alive but not happy. 

"Tread carefully, littlest Black, the others have already learnt of the destruction one little mistake can cost."

As the curiosity grows, Aurora treads into the deep, dark waters of the unknown, she searches for answers, and everyone seems to have their own tale to tell, their own side of what actually happened, some have versions that are unbelievable, some that fit in her eyes, but the truth isn't always bitter, never always sweet, it's both and she needs to find the perfect balance of it to put these scattered pieces together.

"And what do you know? huh? Heavy is the head that wears the crown, remember that."

She desperately needs to learn a lot more, a lot faster because being a Black is the best and worst thing to ever happen because as the pieces join she realises that not only does great power come with great responsibility, it comes at a greater price, as the pieces of the puzzle fit together, she realises her family paid for it, as the pieces form a perfect picture, she realises, it's not perfect at all and that's it's time to fight the demons, the ones out there, and the ones inside them, it's time to fight and win. Together.

After all, they are the Blacks. They'll win as usual, right?

"Do you think we'll all be alright one day? Happy?"
"I don't know."
