The Villainess And The Strongest knight

ch 4. The Minotaur

It was big..the minotaur.. a big creature, half man half bull, it wields an axe and eats humans.. and they also live in caves and labyrinths

Looking around we can see they injured people, what ever this is..I'm sure this is a event in the original story that is supposed to happen...l That's the only reason that I can think of right now

"Thomas, Anna make sure to take the injured away in a safe area! Then return to help us! We will buy time until the reinforcement arrive!"

"G-got it!" Anna and Thom went and help the injured students away from the battle..they cannot help us in this battle..but they can probably defend themselves from weaker monster in this floor if they are attacked..now looking at this beast... It's scary..this is my first time facing something this size

It looked right at us and roared it raised it axe and swing it down towards me and Cassandra, we dodge it by moving to side..the floor cracked when its axe hits it with tremendous forge, it we get hit by that thing clean..it's game over

"I'll attack on the left! And you attack on the right!" Cassandra orders..her strategy is to keep it busy with the two of us attacking both it's side to keep it guessing on where we will attack.. this might just work

We executed her plans making sure to draw it's attention then the other will attack, its hide is thick and our sword only dealt minimal damage to the creature

We keep at it..baiting..attacking, again and again until the other two members of our group returned to help us ..but then something happened..the minotaur let out a ear piercing roar stunning us for seconds, but it was enough for me to get punched..luckily the stun effect wore off and I manage to block it with my shield.. I was sent flying to the labyrinth's wall, it then rages swinging it's axe in amazing speed at Cassandra...it's solely focusing at her as her sword had dealt the most damage to the creature

She's getting overwhelmed by its attack not even letting her to cast a spell. my plan is to get it's attention away..I run towards the creature full speed it's when she finally made a fatal mistake, probably due to getting overwhelmed she slipped and was about to be hit by its axe

There's a chance that I will die because of this..but the percentage that I'll survive is high and so..I pushed her away from the minotaur's blow with my shoulder and ready my self to a world of pain as I blocked it's attack with my shield

It's axe breaks through my shield and slashing my arms leaving a deep wound..I could feel it in my bone..it was deep..and it probably fractured and dislocated my arm

"Desmond!" I can hear her scream my name.. but with this opening she casted a spell, using everything that she had she incase the beast in ice..it will break free at any moment but it's enough to stop it for now

Cassandra run towards me..and it seems that the other two are also here already

"Desmond! Why did you!?"

"You won't survive that blow...So I took it.." I said while panting heavily...I can feel blood flowing out of my arm

"Anna quick! Heal him!"

Anna was shocked to see my arm in this condition but she snapped back to reality when Cassandra shouted on her and start to heal me

"Guys...I think the minotaur is getting out of the ice" Tom informed us as he pull his daggers out

"Anna take care of him" Cassandra stands up and readied herself again for another battle with the minotaur

Tom and Cassandra fought it with all they got making...

"Anna..."

"Please save your strength! I'm gonna heal you right now!" I was enveloped with light as he start to heal me
