Addy teased me with her little fashion show, showcasing outfits for the dinner. She's got a playful side, and I'm loving every moment of it.Addy's impromptu fashion show left me breathless and more aware of the magnetic pull she had on me.

The way she effortlessly showcased her beauty stirred a mixture of emotions, making it hard to ignore the growing intensity between us.Seems like Addy's got her revenge for my shirtless teasing. On our way to Addy's parents' house, the air is light, and there's a sense of warmth between us, despite the playful banter earlier.

Taking it slow, not just for the scenic route, but also mindful of Addy's comfort. After all, I've seen how she reacts when things speed up a bit too much.Chivalry intact, we entered into the comfort of her home hand in hand.

Addy's family greeted us warmly, and I couldn't help but notice the genuine smiles and warmth that surrounded us.Addy's mom enveloped her in a warm hug, saying, "I missed you, baby."Addy responded with a genuine smile, "I missed you too, Mom." Addy's mom warmly greeted me, "Hello, Asher! Please, both of you, have a seat."

Evan climbed into Addy's lap, happy to see her.As Sophia mentioned Evan's longing for Addy, I couldn't help but notice the genuine happiness that lit up Addy's face. He hugged Addy tightly, his little head nestled against her neck. Evan withdrew from the hug and planted a sweet peck on Addy's cheek, and in return, Addy reciprocated with a tender peck on his forehead.

Watching Evan holding onto Addy, I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. I hadn't had the chance to hug her yet, and her nephew was determined not to let her go and she was not leaving him. Christian leans in and whispers "Don't look at my son like that" I rolled my eyes, replying to Christian's warning in a bored tone. "Relax, it's just a little family bonding." Christian chuckled, "Just keep it family-friendly, Carter."

Christian grinned and called out, "Evan, come here, buddy. Uncle Asher seems a bit jealous of you stealing Addy's attention." The confident smirk never left his face, though I felt the weight of everyone's eyes on me. I responded with a playful tone, "Guess I'll have to up my game to win this attention back."

Addy turns towards me and whispers " Are you for real? He's just a kid" I chuckled, whispering back, "Can't help it; I want my wife's attention on me." Addy shot me a dirty look, and I couldn't help but grin, enjoying the playful banter.

Liam entered the living room unannounced, disrupting the momentary tranquility.Christian questions Liam with a raised eyebrow, "What are you doing here?" Liam playfully responds to Christian, "I'm here because you guys were spending time without me." Liam turns towards me and asks "How dare you leave me and spend time with him?"

I reply to Liam in a bored tone, "Both of us got married, Liam. You'll survive without my constant company." Liam scoffs, "Well, that's unexpected. I thought you were allergic to commitment." Making eye contact with Addy, I replied to Liam, "Not anymore."

Christian interjected, "Eww, stop. I don't wanna learn about my sister's married life." At the same time Addy's parents called out, "Dinner's ready, kids!" As we took our places at the dining table, dinner commenced with conversations weaving through the meal.

After dinner when I tried taking Evan into my arms, he spills water on me with a triumphant smile, proclaiming, "Aunt Addy's mine!" Laughter erupted around the table as everyone enjoyed Evan's playful stunt.Addy's laughter echoed, and she held her stomach, thoroughly amused by the playful antics around the dinner table.

Liam teased, "Well done, buddy," to Evan, acknowledging the little one's mischievous water spill with a smirk.Christian's chuckle was cut short with a glare from Sophia.Christian is definitely whipped for his wife.

Sophia instructs Evan to apologize to me, and I raise an eyebrow in amusement as I await the little boy's response.Evan apologizes, saying, "Sorry, Uncle Asher." I ruffle Evan's hair playfully, "No worries, little man. Just be careful with that water next time, okay?"

Addy's mother asks Sophia to give me one of Christian's shirts. She turns to Addy and asks her to help me.Addy protests, saying, "Mom, he's not a kid" Aurora gives her a pointed look, and Addy eventually relents, saying, "Okay, fine." Sophia hands me a shirt, and Addy leads me to her room.

I smirk at Addy and ask, "You enjoyed seeing me miserable, didn't you, Blue?"
She grins and retorts, "Maybe just a little. Keeps you on your toes, Mr. Carter." I say, "Well, Mrs. Carter, get used to it. I'm always one step ahead." Addy's eyes narrow playfully, "We'll see about that, Mr. Carter. I'm not one to back down easily."

I can't help but chuckle at Addy's reaction as she looks away when I change my shirt. "Sure thing, Blue," I say with a playful grin.

As Addy puts my shirt in a paper bag, I suggest, "Let's go home, Blue," with a warm smile, ready to leave Addy's parents' house.
