English Writing Diploma (January 10, 2024)

I woke up at 6:40 AM from my alarms.

The van got to school 15 minutes late and it made me really anxious, but when we got in the portable, they hadn't started the English writing diploma exam yet so it was all good!

It was using the new platform of Vretta, which caused some problems all along. At first, most people logged into the wrong account and went into QuestA+ first, but that got sorted. The PRT was about the impact of finding one's purpose in life or something, and the image was of a man walking down a staircase in a big room, the poem was just about the desire of finding passion, and the text excerpt was about slavery?? I went with the poem, and used my personal experience of finding my passion of solving Rubik's Cubes :3 While writing though, I tried putting quotation marks and it didn't work- then others couldn't make square brackets? And at one point, everyone's spellcheck sort of stopped working, and also the prompt for the CART was an entirely different question on Vretta and the booklet XD So we answered the Vretta one, which was about how perspective affects an individual's ability to navigate changes in circumstances, so I wrote about Blanche from A Streetcar Named Desire. I ended after 5 hours and 20 minutes out of the allotted 6 hours, while many people were still doing it actually, so I wasn't the last! I don't feel like I was in the total zone while writing but I feel like it was alright, very curious as to how I will be graded

When I got home, I streamed for 1 hour and 20 minutes, having a good time! It was short because I got home late, which mom had hot chocolate for me 🥺 I was just solving, fun :3 I raided AmyKitsuCubing.

After supper, I went on a call with Maxie!! We watched the first 2 episodes of the second season of The Promised Neverland :0 It was really fun!!! Kinda crazy plot but real cool, and also Maxibubs is incredible and amazing >:3 I love xem so much 😭😭💙💙💙

It is now 1:06 AM and I'll sleep soon.

Good night!
