I sit the weight back on its bars and I start to do push ups.

"Aye man what is that on finger?"

"My wedding ring." I say looking down at it.

"Dawg how you get married sand don't tell nobody. You didn't even invite me to the wedding. What good friend you are."

I could help but roll my eyes at him.

"Bruh we was drunk when we got married we don't even remember a thing."  I say.

"We'll what she look like?" He asks with his nosey self.

I show him my lock screen that has the picture I took over Zaria when she wasn't paying attention.

"Damn she fine."

"Aye dats my wife you talking bout."

"Ooh and you claiming her wait till I tell yo mama."

"Do she got a sister or something?"

"Nawl but she got a friend." I say.

"She single?"

"Ion know but let's get back to these weights."

A few minutes later my phone vibrates. I see I am getting a FaceTime from my momma.

I accept the call.

"Momma." I say as she appears on the screen.

"What you up to boy?"

Nuthin mama just lifting weights with Jarvis." I say turning the phone toward Jarvis.

"Wassup mama." He says.

"My son number 2."

"What you doing mama."

"Cleaning up."

"Oh where Jazzy at?" I ask while scratching my hair. I didn't realize what I ha just did.

"Odell what is that on your finger?" My momma asks.

I mentally face palm

"Nuthin" I say to quick.

"I have been married to long not to know when I see a wedding ring."

"See what had happen was" I was interrupted by her saying " boy just get to the chase are you married."

"Yes momma I am."

"We'll for how long?" She questions.

"2 1/2 months." I say

"2 1/2 months you don't think you should have told a little sooner. She yells.

"I had to make Zaria and I were on the same page mama." I say.

"Are y'all on the good page now?" She asks.

"Yeah we good now."

"We'll that is great because your sister and I will be coming down there next week to meet her." She says.

"But mama."

"But mama my ass we coming to meet her Friday that's finally."

"Alright mama." I say.

"Mmhm imma talk to you later baby."

"Alright momma love you." I say.

"I love you baby." She says.

I end the face time to see Jarvis laughing.

"Man shut up." I say throwing the towel at him.

I get up and walk out the weight room.

Zaria Pov
I just won another case. My client the defendant was found innocent. Second big win in a row. More to come.

The look on the prosecutors's faces was priceless. Terry had the biggest shocked face.

I told him was going to bring my A game.

Since I won Jakirya invited me out to drinks to celebrate. So I am currently get dressed to meet her at the bar when I door bell rings.

I go down stairs to see Odell standing at the door .

I open the door and Odell looks me up and down.

"where you think going." He says walking right in.

"Excuse you then" I mumble while closing the door.

"Oh I already have plans with Jakirya she invited me out with her since I won my case today.." I say walking up the stairs toward my room.

"Congrats and nope." He says walking behind me.

I rolled my eyes

"What I tell you about rolling your eyes." He says.

I walk in my bathroom to finish my makeup.

"Why can't I go out tonight Odell." I ask.

"Because first of all that dress you go on is showing too much of curves. He says wrapping his arms around my waste" and I thought we could chill and watch Netflix tonight" he also says while looking down at me pouting.

How can I resist that pout

" I guess I can call Jakirya and cancel." I say while grabbing my phone off the counter.

"I already did before I can over here."he says.

"So you mean to tell me I been getting ready for no reason." I say looking at him like he crazy.

"We'll no I wanted to see in one of your dress. Oh and you and this dress is doing wonders to your ass." He says while gripping my ass.

"Whatever I'm bout to take this dress off and I'm need you to cover your eyes."

" I have already seen you naked before."

"Just go down stairs." I say.

"Fine" I hear him mutter.

I changed out that dres, take my makeup off, and brush my hair out. I put on some comfortably clothes which is just some shorts and a T-shirt.

I walk down stairs to find Odell sitting on my couch scrolling through Netflix.

I grab my big cover and put over us. I don't even know what movie we are watching but I don't care because I am tired.

As the movie starts I slow start to doze offs to sleep.
