CHAPTER 1

Ruby's P.O.V

"Awww look at her"

"Shhhh! Don't wake her"

"Good job Sam, you woke her up"

"Good morning guys." I whisper to them, still half asleep. I look around and see all of my brothers and my papa.

"Morning babygirl" Ben says. I politely kick them all out of my room so I can get dressed but not before I get told to come down for breakfast in 10minutes. I quickly put on some leggings and one of my brother's hoodies.

"So what's for breakfast?" I ask Alex.

"Your favorite, banana choc chip pancakes!"

"Ahhhh thank you, thank you!!"

"Well it is a special occasion, your first day of highschool" Sam reminds me.

"Don't look so sad Rubes, Tom and I will be there with you" Toby tells me.

"Okay" I say softly. "Oh and we will all take you to go get your schedule apart from dad"

"Time to go now princess" Vince tells me as I run past him to go and get my shoes on. Once my shoes are on I go and jump into Alex's black Range Rover that can just fit the whole family. I go and sit in the backseat because i'm the smallest so it's only fair because none of my other brothers canfit and because they are all at least 6'3.

On the drive there my nerves start to skyrocket and I suddenly feel like I'll be a lone that will have no friends because I am going to this school not knowing anyone. I don't have any friends because I am always with my brothers.

The car comes to a halt outside the school and everyone stops and stares. I'm the last to get out seen as I was in the backseat. Alex, Sam, Vince, Ben and the twins all form a sort of barrier around me as though they don't want me to be seen.

The entire car park is silent until a group of guys start catcalling and whistling at me. All my brothers turn and look at them and give them death glares that even make me squirm just from looking at them. The group of boys quickly apologise but the twins say "we'll come and talk to you soon."

We walk inside and go straight to the main office, everyone moves out of the way for us to walk through. I mutter a quick thanks to some of them. Out of the corner of my eye I see a group of girls that are caked in makeup glaring at me so I quickly looks away.

"Excuse me" Sam asks a bored looking receptionist who is on her phone. She ignores him and keeps looking at her phone. "I don't like to repeat myself" Sam growls out and he quickly looks up and starts shaking. "I'--m so-so sor-ry." she stutters out. "Name please,'' she asks my brothers while looking at me. "Ruby Carter."

"Okay great here is your schedule, once again very sorry for earlier." None of us reply, we just walk off and my brothers take my schedule. "Okay Ruby we have some simple rules for you, no boys, don't be late for class unless you have a good reason, sit with your brothers at lunch. Remember NO BOYS" Vince says to me. "Okay, okay, who knows where my first class is?" I ask politely. "Toby and Tom go to your class, we will take her there." "See you later baby girl" Tom and Toby say as they walk off.

The rest of my brothers guide me to my first class which is English. "Okay Ruby this is your stop, remember no boys and be polite. The teacher doesn't like the rest of us very much so just try not be piss her off because she will soon find out that you are our sister."

"Okayyy, well I gotta go, bye" I say. I give them all hugs and then they walk off.

I can do this, I can do this. I recite to myself over and over, then I open the door.
