"It's Penny." I tore my chin away from his hand.
"Whatever." He made a lackadaisical shrug. Everything that Liam said came whisking like a tornado. The fact that he was tricky and will probably kill me if he finds out who I really am, made me queasy. He's a god, and he follows Zeus, who wants to kill me by the way.
I stared up at the man before me. "You're Eros."
"Yup!" He leaned back and crossed his hands behind his head. "Ethan Aaron Lavisque at your service. At least that's the name of the body I took over."
Why are my hands sweaty? "So you've ascended?"
He made a face like I just asked him to join a strip club. "Well duh."
I was still on the statement he said earlier. "Why will Liam want me to...you know."
Aaron smiled but said nothing. After a few minutes, he spoke again. "Liam seems to have some interest in you." He faced me and smirked. "Which is very rare."
I gasped when he grabbed my wrist and turned it. His thumb grazed my mark and I shivered. "Unless..." His eyes focused on the Greek pattern. "...you're Pandora."
That instant, my world froze. For a minute, we just stared at each other. Aaron had an expression that looked like he had won a game. I, on the other hand, was trying to reign back my panic. I tried gaining my wrist back but his grip never loosened.
