Episode 12

The gunmen continued scanning the forest. They looked for clues all around. They had to find them. Occasionally they found blood drops on the leaves of some bushes. The leader saw the bloody handprint on one tree. After some time, they lost track of it. They could not find any signs.

'Keep on looking. They must have left some clues. We have to find them and kill them.' roared the leader.

All the gunmen nodded their heads and started searching.

'I won't leave you. I will find you soon.' murmured the leader.

Suraj was standing near the window and was looking out. Shyam and Venkat had taken Alok to a doctor in the nearest town. The doctor was a friend of Shyam and used to help me in a lot of undercover cases. They had hurried before Alok would collapse.

'This is not what we had thought. We never planned to kill anyone, but they had hired goons to kill us. What should we do now?' asked Swayam.

Suraj was silent. He was thinking about his next step. Rohan came out of the room.

'I gave them food. The women folk are refusing to eat anything.' announced Rohan.

Suraj stormed inside. 'What the hell do you think you are? Your hands do not tremble when you kill children but now you are behaving as if we are doing injustice towards you?' Suraj shouted.

They trembled and mumbled something which he could not understand.

'Shut up and eat whatever is given to you. When the time comes, we will hand you over to the police and after that, they will take care of you.' said Suraj.

Rohan came inside and gave them food. They came ahead and started eating with their tied hands.

Suraj came outside and again stood near the window. Rohan and Swayam came near him and stood silently.

'I think we need to gear up for this war. This war demands blood and we won't shed a single drop of blood from our side. They would all bleed to death. If they still want to go ahead with it, we will punish them. Swayam, call Joseph Bhai.' said Suraj.
