Episode 14

Pyare Mohan was drinking his coffee while relaxing in his armchair. Sukumar and Siddhanta were sitting in front of him. They spoke nothing. A smile slowly spread across the face of Pyare Mohan. They reciprocated his smile with their smiles.

'Thank you Pyare babu. It seems your idea worked. The gunmen were useful. If they would have delayed a bit, we both have lost our lives. I think they would finish them in some time.' said Siddhanta.

'You are wrong. They would have never killed you. They did not come intending to kill anyone. They killed none of the guards. They warned you. But do not worry, my men will catch them soon. We injured one of them. They can't go far from here.' said the leader.

'Brilliant work. I am happy to hear it. Kill them all. No one should stand in front of us, ever. Listen, we have work which has to be completed this week and by this week you must catch them alive and bring them to me. After that I would kill them.' said Pyare Mohan.

The leader bowed his head in respect and left the place.

'What should we do next?' asked Sukumar.

'We should go ahead with our plan and look out for the people who went missing. I think I am missing something. The people behind it are not looking to kill anyone. Why I am getting a feeling that our middle women are also alive along with our informers?' said a disturbed Pyare Mohan.

'Let me talk to some people I know who can find out about it.' said Sukumar.

As they were talking, Suraj, Rohan and Swayam came back.

'Hello grandpa, how are you? How are you Sukumar Ji and Siddhanta Ji?' said Suraj.

They nodded as if they are ok with a smile.

'Where were you all? I have been searching for you since morning.' said Pyare Mohan.

'We were just exploring the part outside of the village. Our holiday is ending. So, we have utilised our time fully by not leaving any place unexplored.' said Rohan.

Pyare Mohan laughed. 'It is nice to see you all take such an interest. But please be careful as some unforeseen incidents are occurring in this peaceful village.' he said.

'Do not worry. We would be safe plus everyone knows you are our grandpa. So, who would harm us?' said Swayam with a smile.

A smile spread across Pyare Mohan. He called out Shankar and ordered him to serve food to the three of them. They all went inside.

'Isn't it strange that these incidents happened when they came to our village?' said Sukumar.

Pyare Mohan looked at him in anger. He said nothing. He got up and asked them to leave and went inside.
