'y/n what are you doing here I thought I was covering your service today?',
Meredith said to me as I walked into the attendings lounge, I shook my head slightly,
'no I'm fine Alex was over reacting',
I said to her, Meredith walked over to m,
'is that why you are wearing you shirt inside out?',
Meredith asked me smiling, I moved the sunglasses to the top of my head,
'are you sure you're okay to be here today?',
Meredith asked me, I nodded my head,
'I would get a blood test done and then maybe a banana bag in you before you see any patients',
Meredith said, I nodded my head agreeing with what she said,
'fine but do not tell Alex that I am here',
I said, Meredith laughed slightly grabbing my arm,
'come on let's go get your blood tested',
Meredith said dragging me out of the attendings lounge. I somewhat willingly followed her into a spare room, Meredith turned to one of her interns,
'quickly and quietly go and get me a blood kit and a banana bag',
Meredith said before shutting the door. I sat down on the bed closing my eyes ready for Meredith to do what she needed to. The door to the room opened, I assumed it was the intern with the kit until the person spoke,
'you're not meant to be here',
Someone said, I slowly came to the realisation that it was Alex. I grimaced slightly,
'Mer can you give us the room?',
Alex said, she shook her head slightly,
'Sorry but I'm actually going to get her blood tested to see what's specifically making her sick right now and I'm going to give her a banana bag as well',
Meredith said, Alex raised his eyebrows slightly,
'but you know what I will let you do all that',
Meredith said as the intern walked into the room with the equipment. Alex quickly grabbed them and pushed Mer and the intern out of the room, I laid back onto the bed,
'why are you here?',
Alex asked me as he began to take my blood. I winced slightly as I felt the needle,
'I'm sick of being at home',
I said to him, he shook his head at me,
'you need to be home it's the only place you're going to be able to recover from whatever you're sick from y/n! I'm not just trying to force you to stay home I just want you to get better',
Alex said slightly annoyed, I sighed slightly,
'can't I just be admitted and I get looked after me at hospital?',
Alex looked at me slightly confused but then smiled at my idea,
'actually it would mean I wouldn't have to tell you off anymore',
Alex said, I smiled at him and nodded my head. He quickly grabbed my blood sample,
'let's get this tested and see how quickly we can get you admitted'.
