Mark asked his voice slightly shaking as he saw me, I looked up at him extremely confused,
'I work here, what the hell are you on about Mark?',
I asked him, he avoided eye contact with me and continued looking straight ahead,
'why don't you go up and get started on your rounds?',
Mark somewhat asked me and somewhat stated grabbing my shoulders and beginning to push me forward,
'you realise I'm now an attending so you can't boss me around',
I said trying to stop him from pushing me and see why he was acting strange. Mark didn't even look at me he was too busy looking around the halls,
'Mark tell me what is going right now',
I said looking at him directly in the eyes, he looked down at me slightly scared,
'Mark who's this?',
A women asked walking behind Mark, I looked at Mark extremely confused before moving him out of the way, I held out my hand to shake hers,
'Hi I'm y/n newest Trauma surgeon attending and also Mark's girlfriend',
I said smiling at her, she shook my hand,
'Hi I'm Julia',
Julia said, I looked at Mark slightly shocked as I realised it was his ex-girlfriend,
'and what are you doing here?',
I said realising I sounded quite rude, Mark tried not to laugh,
'I just wanted to see Mark but he says he's busy right now',
Julia said, I nodded my head and grabbed Mark's hand,
'yeah we have a consult like now so we have to go',
I said, Julia looked at me confused,
'I didn't realise trauma surgeons did consults',
Julia said, I smiled at her awkwardly,
'There's a first for everything',
I said to her quickly walking away with Mark,
'good to see you Julia',
Mark said, I looked up at him slightly annoyed,
'bit jealous there y/n?'.
