'it's Mr Rowlands',
I said to Jackson as I looked down at my pager; it began to ring whilst I was at lunch, I quickly threw my lunch onto the table and ran to my patients room. I could hear Jackson follow behind me,
'the stairs are gonna be quicker then the elevator',
Jackson yelled behind me, I quickly made my way up two flights of stairs before exiting the stair case and running to Mr Rowlands' room. As I got to his room I saw the crash cart team leaving his room, I didn't know what the outcome was until I looked into his room. Mr Rowlands heart had no beat, there was a sheet being pulled over his face,
'he was stable',
I said trying to think of everything that could've possibly gone wrong, Jackson put his hand on my back,
'what the hell happened?',
Jackson asked as I was speechless and somewhat in shock,
'he went into cardiac arrest',
A nurse said, I walked into the room in confused,
'what did I do?',
I asked Jackson looking for an answer, Jackson walked in behind me and shut the doors,
