'so now that you're crashing at might I must ask do you want ice cream or tequila?',
Jo asked me standing up from the couch and walking into her kitchen, I looked up at her with my eyebrows raised and tears still in my eyes,
'is it bad if I ask for both?',
I asked her, she shook her head and smiled at me,
'I'm glad you said it because I wasn't going to',
Jo said grabbing both of them before coming back to the couch. She sat back down and there was a knock on the door, I looked at her confused and she shrugged her shoulders,
'do you want me to get it?',
I asked her, she shrugged her shoulders once again. I stood up off of the couch and walked over to her door. I slid it open, Jackson was standing there,
'who is it?',
Jo said not looking up from the ice cream,
'hey',
Jackson said, Jo finally looked up,
'I would give you guys the room but it's kind of an open floor plan',
Jo said, I nodded my head and took a step forward so I was out of the apartment, I shut the door behind me. I looked at the ground avoiding his eye contact,
'how'd you know I'd be here?',
I asked slowly looking up at him, he smiled at me slightly,
'I know you, this is your second home away from home',
Jackson said, I smiled at him slightly,
'baby come home',
Jackson said, I felt the tears swelling in my eyes again,
'Jackson, I-I love you but I need space. The argument that we had it really highlighted the fact that I do in fact love you but if we're going to start a life together we need to start it I don't want to move into the place that you and you're ex-wife lived in and decorated together',
I said looking away from him, he moved closer to me,
