'are you all good for this afternoon?',
Arizona asked me, I nodded my head, Jackson looked at me confused,
'I'll see you then',
I said to Arizona, Jackson turned to face me,
'what's this afternoon?',
Jackson asked somewhat curious and somewhat confused, I looked away from him,
'it's nothing',
I said going to walk away, he grabbed my hand pulling me back to him,
'y/n tell me what's going on?',
Jackson asked extremely seriously, I finally made eye contact with him,
'look we have a V.I.P patient coming in this afternoon that's all',
I said trying to get him off of my case, Jackson smiled at me slightly,
'and who might this VIP patient be that requires orthopaedics and OB?',
Jackson asked, I shook my head and looked away from him,
'it doesn't matter; also it's going to be a while so don't wait for me to go home I'll get Robbins to drop me off afterwards',
I said to him, his smile disappeared slightly,
'it's fine I'll wait for you, I have plenty of paperwork I need to catch up on',
Jackson said, I shook my head at him,
'No, I-I-I just go home its fine',
I said to him stuttering through my words, Jackson looked at me concerned,
'y/n what's happening this afternoon?',
Jackson said, I took a deep breath getting ready to talk about the VIP patient I made up,
'and don't give me the fake story about the VIP patient again',
Jackson said. I made eye contact with him once again,
'I-I uhh',
I stuttered out, I felt the tears swell up in my eyes,
'I had a miscarriage',
I said to Jackson, letting out my breath. Jackson took a step closer to me, he put his hands on my sides,
'why didn't you tell me?',
Jackson asked me sounding slightly hurt,
'with everything happening with the foundation right now I didn't want to worry you',
I said to him, he pulled me into his chest wrapping his arms around me,
'y/n this is more important then any foundation stuff',
Jackson said leaving a kiss on the top of my head,
'I'm going to cancel my afternoon surgery so I can be with you the whole time'.
