grief and dissapointment

peter was pacing back and fourth in another room,tugging his hair in frustration,he honestly didn't know why he had been acting the way he was,and we wasn't sure why he was acting the way he was with kira,because she was right,they were supposed to talk about this stuff,so he walked up to her and hugged her tightly

"i'm sorry" he whispered and she sighed "i just don't want something bad happening and you get killed" he squeezed her tighter "nothings going to happen i promise...now let's fight a battle"

they pulled away and she smiled slightly "let's fight a battle"
little did they know was that the promise would be broken,and that wouldn't be the only thing that was...

we got to the castle as we all flew in on gryphons,once ed gave the signal that he landed safely,a soldier was about to shoot ed but susan shot him first,the gryphons let us go before flying off and me and peter took out the other two soldiers,we got to a room and lowered caspian by a rope

"professor?" he asked after knocking softly,next we slid down as he opened the window but the study was empty.

"we have to find him" "we dont have time we need to get the gate open" peter whispered

"you wouldnt be here without him and neither would i" caspian argues and we all share a glance "you,me and kira can deal with miraz" susan told him "and i can still get to the gate in time" caspian said before he left.

we were walking down a hall when we hear a women call out "i dont want to do this" we share a glance before peter kicks the door open

"we dont want you to either" susan points her bow at the woman "this use to be a private room" miraz said with his hands on his hips

"what are you doing?" i ask caspian "you're supposed to be at the gatehouse"peter finished "no! tonight for once i want the truth,did you kill my father?!" caspian asks angrily

"now we get to it" "you said your brother died in his sleep?" the woman questions "that was more or less true" "caspian this wont make things any better"susan says "we telmarines would have nothing,had we not taken it,your father knew that as well as anyone" "how could you?" the woman asked lowering her crossbow

"for the same reason you will pull that trigger,for our son" "stop!" "stay right there!" me and peter yelled "you need to make a choice dear,do you want our child to be a king? or do you want him to be like caspian here?...fatherless!"

"no!" she pulled the trigger "caspian" i call out as the arrow hit his arm and miraz escapes through a hidden passage.

bells went off as we ran "peter!" susan calls out as he kept running straight "our troops are just outside come on!" "peter we cant!" i yell but he just kept running,why did i have a bad feeling about this?

we ran to the courtyard as peter was pushing the lever to open the gate "peter its too late we have to call it off while we can" susan tried to negotiate "no i can still do this. help me"

and there's the word i was scared of i he thinks hes the only important one here but he has us,he has me. we all look at each other before helping him push

"exactly who are you doing this for peter?"susan grunts and our eyes briefly met,the narnians came running in "for narnia!" peter says unsheathing his sword and we do the same and into battle we go
