getting crowned and goodbyes

it has been a week or so after the telmarine war and caspian was getting crowned tomorrow, me and ed have gotten closer and so have me and peter but just as best friends,and i kinda like it better that way,we get along better.

i was walking down the halls when i heard footsteps behind me,i turn and see my father "walk with me child?" he asked and i nodded.

we walked to the beach as usual and walk in silence before he spoke "you know caspians getting crowned tomorrow?" he asked and i nodded "i'm aware father,and i am very excited for him" i grin

"kira,i have to ask you something,then i must tell you something very important" i furrowed my brows but nodded any way

"how would you like to get crowned with him?" i look at my father with wide eyes "g-get crowned with him? as in become an official queen? of narnia?" i stammer and he chuckles while nodding

"you could rule with caspian,side by side while the pevensies are gone" i ponder about if for a moment before nodding

"alright,i'll do it" i answer before going back to his words "father?" i ask and he hums in response "what do you mean 'while the pevensies are gone'?" he sighs

"my dear,eventually everyone grows old,and can only do so much,susan and peter have come to age,and once they leave they shall never return" i frown

"what about edmund and lucy?" "they must also leave for the time being but they shall return when needed in narnia once again" "when will that be?" i ask

"there is never a specific time in life little one,you'll know when they return" i nod before we head back to the castle,and father decided now was the time to tell peter and susan.

"i cant believe your getting crowned!" lucy said excitedly and i nodded with a small smile but she frowned

"is something wrong kira? am i too excited?" she asked and i chuckled "you're the right amount of excited lucy,i'm just a little nervous i guess"

i lied,i couldn't tell the pevensies that they were leaving today,well lucy and edmund that is,and i hated lying to them. i was wearing this dress
