Auroras POV
The drive felt like it took forever but finally we parked at the mall.
"You ready to go shopping?" Nathan asked.
"Y-yes"
I was a bit nervous with being around so many people.
We unbuckled and started walking into the mall. I made sure to hold onto Jason's hand and to stay close to him.
After the shopping
"Are you guys hungry?" Nathan asked.
"Yes let's eat" Jason said.
"Bubby can you carry me my legs are tired" I whined.
He nodded and picked me up.
"I'm gonna go order the food you guys go and find a table" Nathan said walking off.
Jason found a table not too far away and we sat down.
5 minutes later Nathan came back with the food and we ate.
"Hey baby" said a girl standing behind me.
"Britney what the hell do you want?" Nathan said annoyed.
"Just came over to say hi and wondering who this brat is" she said giving me a disgusted look.
Why is she being mean to me?
"What the fuck did you just call her?" Jason said standing up.
"You heard me and who are you?" Britney said.
"I'm her brother so you better shut the hell up or I'll make your life a living hell"
I don't think I've ever seen Bubby this mad before and it scared me a bit.
"She's also my sister and do not ever call me baby again Britney so leave us alone. " Nathan said.
"Since when do you have a sister?" She said confused.
"None of your damn business"
"Whatever" Britney said walking off but making sure to roll her eyes at me.
"W-why doesn't she like me?" I asked a bit upset.
"Cause she's a jealous bitch" Nathan said.
"You said a no no word"
"Sorry sweetheart. She's just a girl in my school that's obsessed with me" Nathan said.
"Do I go to school Bubby?" I said looking at Jason.
"Yes you start tomorrow" he replied.
"Are you going to be with me Bubby?"
"No I go to the high school and you are in elementary school"
"Oh" I said quietly.
I didn't wanna be separated from Jason.
"It will be fun. Damien said it's one of the top schools for kids your age" Nathan said enthusiastically.
I just nodded at him.
Maybe I'll be able to make some friends.
"Ready to go?" Nathan asked.
"Yes"
Walking out there was a big crowd coming in and I accidentally let go of Jason's hand.
I frantically looked around me trying to find Bubby but I couldn't.
