Chapter 5

Arriving at the Gelato stall you glance at the flavors and look up to the vendor guy."Can I get a scoop of (fav. Flavor)." You said while you get your money. The vendor scoops the gelato and handed you your (fav. flavor) Gelato while you handed your money for payment.

You turn back and sat down on the chair near the gelato stall savoring your (fav. flavor) gelato flavor. Then you heard a familiar voice ordering a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of pistachio. Why was it familiar you thought.

You tilted your head back to see the person. There a black-haired guy standing at the front of gelato stall waiting for his delicious gelato. As he got his gelato, he turns to you, walk where you at and sat down across at you also savoring his own gelato.

You watch him eat his gelato contemplating on why his voice and his appearance seems familiar. You rummage your mind, searching for something that might described his appearance or his voice. While doing that the guy front you notices that you were watching him, he gave you a weird look and decided to ignore you.

There was a person in your mind that might described him but you weren't too sure if it's really him, so you decided to just ignore him and focus on your almost finished gelato.

After you finished eating, you stand up ready to go. You decided to go to the clothing store and buy some new outfit to wear for tomorrow when you became an official member of the gang.

You were now standing again infront of Polpo holding the litted lighter.

"I'm impressed that you actually managed to bring back the lighter without letting the flame out!" Polpo said sounding impressed. But whether you protected the lighter or gained a stand by litting the lighter, either way he doesn't really care. He will just use you anyway.

You forced a smiled at him. You know what he's thinking. In his mind he is just thinking how to use you. You can't wait for Giorno to eliminate him. Wait... Giorno?...was the guy you saw yesterday was Giorno...? I can't believe myself that you actually didn't recognize one of your favourite character...

Polpo began with his sermon about 'Trust' being the most important thing in the world and it's detestable to insult it. Looking down at you who is not really listening to him.

"Do you understand? Don't ever forget that and congratulation on passing the test. I accept you into our organization." He said congratulating you for becoming a new member to the gang.

"Here, this is the Passione's Badge, a proof that you are a member in our gang." He said handing you the badge and you took it.

You were about to go but he stops you. You stop your tracks. What is he going to say to you?

He decided to give you an order to test your capability. You will be supervised by his favorite guy and told you to come back at 12 noon.

The only thing that came in your mind is 'Buccellati' when he said his favourite guy.
But what will he think if he finds out that you were the new member when he just saw you yesterday and advised you not to get tangled with dangerous stuff...

A message appeared infront of you.

You stared Infront of you and got curious about this 'Hidden Reward'. You asked Golden System what this new feature about. "You will know tomorrow." Was only her reply.

Looking at the time it's almost 12 noon. You hurry up to the police station.

Arriving at the Police station. You entered and made your way to Polpo's cell.

As you entered his cell you saw a familiar person besides him in the cell. The both of them notices you.

"Ah, You arrived just in time. This is Buccellati. He will supervise you, I hope you will give a good performance." He says while eating a large size pizza. You glance at Buccellati who's giving you a disappointing look. Were you correct with your thoughts? He's disappointed at You.

'Sorry but not Sorry! I really wanted to join you guys!' You exclaimed in your mind.

Buccellati was silent which Polpo look at him curiously. Does the both of you know each other? Well, that will make it even better! He munches at his pizza knowing what will be the outcome.

After the both you got out of the prison. Buccellati gave you a scolding you for joining the mafia. Don't you want to have a normal life? Well, it's not like you have a normal life anyway, you mean you already died once and choosed to go here to be part of them...

He sighs pinching the bridge of his nose. Seems to get some headache. Then he decided question why you decided to join. He wanted to know if you have any reasonable excuses of joining something dangerous.

You gave your best on making your face look pitiful. You told him that you don't have any parents anymore, that you don't have anywhere to go and you wanted to survive which isn't a lie since you died, got here and your parents doesn't exist here.

But even after with your pitiful explanation, He still gave you a disappointed look. "You don't have to survive by joining a dangerous organization." he pointed at your choice of survival. He meant you could study at public school and there's a lot of different ways to survive without joining the gang. You kept silent, you don't know what excuses to tell since lying to him is rather pointless.
