Louis was excited for it was the ninth month of him working with Harry. Meaning three months to go till he finally will be able to get his dream to come true. He was quite bubbly about it. Hadn't mention any of it to Harry, as per Anne's orders, and Louis understood perfectly as to why not. Harry would get devastated knowing Louis would leave.

Louis, not being selfish at all, was waiting for the three months to end quick enough. He even had a calendar back at his home, hung by the window of his room, marking each day passed.

It wasn't like he would be leaving Harry. He wasn't. He wouldn't. Harry was his boyfriend now. Yes, he asked him to be his boyfriend, getting a rather shy but happy yes in return. It was the day after the arcade day.

They were in Harry's room when Louis reminded him about the promise made the other day by the blue eyed boy. Harry got confused, not being able to remember what it was before Louis clearly worded it out for him. Well, signed it for him but yeah. Harry blushed and bit his lower lip, not knowing what to say or do. He wanted to jump up and down, telling Louis that yes, he would love another date, a proper date with him but he was scared.

Scared wasn't a right word to describe his feelings. They were a mixture of nervousness, unsureness, and of course a small bit of fright. It was his first time of being asked out. Let alone by someone who was ever so dreamy looking. Harry didn't even know what his mother would think, would she approve of this step or not. He knew nothing about it and he definitely did not want to disobey a mother like Anne.

Louis had that part covered as well. He was always a step ahead, looks like it. He had already asked Anne about this topic.

“...so I kinda need your... permission, if you will." Louis completed his request.

Anne was surprised to hear all of this from Louis. She knew something was up from Harry's side, the feelings were evident for the mother's sight to catch, but she never knew Louis would be feeling the same. Even thought, she actually treated Louis like her own son, she still wanted and needed to protect Harry. She knew Louis really well by now, it had almost been a year and in all this time never had the boy done anything displeasing for Harry or Anne.

“Louis, I-I know you're a really nice lad, a great one but I really don't want anything hurting my son."

“You don't have to worry about that, Anne. I don't know what happened to me the past few months and I am starting to look out for Harry more than myself. I always put him before and I just love it when he smiles or laughs. At first, I thought it would be impossible to get him to smile but now he laughs so much and it's really beautiful. And I just want to keep that expression on his face. I want to be the reason for that. He's really a beautiful boy. I know his... um disability... makes you really protective over him and I understand. I want to be able to do that too. I want to be someone who he'll know will be there with him, for support of all sort. This disability really doesn't matter for me. A friend isn't the only thing I want to be. I know I sound greedy right now but I can't help it. I really, really like him. Since a long while now and it's just... I can't keep it in anymore." Louis stopped to sigh heavily. He blinked, looking at his lap. “I don't know what else to say honestly."

“Oh Louis..." Louis looked up immediately at the sound of a choked sob and saw Anne with watery eyes with a tear running down her left cheek, hand lightly covering her mouth.

“Anne, are you okay? What happened? Did I say something wrong?" Louis got extremely concerned seeing her like this.

“No, no, no. You didn't." She shook her head, wiping the tear. “You said everything I never thought I'd hear someone say and... and it's... too much to absorb. I just... get over here right now!" She pointed in front of her.
