"We just gone be gone for two days" mari said while packing "we gone be back in time for his birthday"
"Why was this planned so late?"
"He ain't say nun bout wanting to do something for his birthday till now" He shrugged
"Can you do something for me though?"
We were at mari's house right now. He had just told me that Kam wanted to go out of town for his birthday.
"Waddup?" I asked
"Watch dahlia till we get back"
"Mari" I sighed "sure but I do got two jobs"
"When you go to work just call Dejah"
"Why you taking guns when y'all going to have fun?" I asked as he zipped the bag up
"Still got to stay strapped up" he said picking up two bags "Ight I got to go"
"DAHLIA!!" He called out
She came running from her room with toys in her hand.
"Leave them toys here" he told her "we bout to go"
She put the toys down somewhere and walked behind him as I walked behind her. We walked downstairs and out the door.
He opened the back door putting his bags in the truck.
"You gone be with Pheonix for a lil bit, don't trip out" mari told dahlia
"Where Mari go?"
"Out of town for kam birthday" he said
"Ok" she nod
He gave her a hug before handing her over to me. He got in his truck as I put her in my car.
"Ima let you ride in the front, fuck what Mari say" I said buckling her in
She hate getting in the car seat, she will have a whole fit about it. I got in the drivers seat starting up the car.
"Welp I guess it's just me and you" I said before pulling off
"Want to go see k5?" I asked
"Yea" she nod and started clapping her hands
I turned on some music making my way towards aunt Lisa's house. I can't believe I'm about to be taking care of this man little sister.
Like I'm his girl or something.
