Felix was at the resturant early in the morning so Y/n's past experiences wouldn't be revealed to Marinette as the h/c-nette's choice. She wrote a small post-it to her uncle, telling him where she'd be so early. Y/n held tightly onto Felix's hand, leading him out the Bund District and to the outskirts of the city. The both of them took a left, Felix trying to memorize the scenery passing them by as they walked towards a black pronged gate. Twin stone chinese dragons stood beside the path way to the cemetery, the street had turned to brick. Thousands of different oddly shaped tombstones shot up from the ground, Felix was dragged through the maze of marble and cement as he stumbled upon sculpture of a young child with arms as thin as bone and legs similarly as small. He held a small ball in hand, it almost seemed frozen in mid air, and below the statue layed a plauqe.

Marin Dupain-Cheng

(random year-random year idk)

Felix gently laid the flowers, Y/n placing sweets beside him. The blonde boy lit candles, and got on his knees. He prayed, he prayed to gods he didn't truly know asking for this boy to have a good time in the after life, he prayed for him to be happy because that would make the girl of his dreams ecstatic, he wished and dreamed for this boy to bless him in his future advances, for this boy to keep his Y/n safe and loved and appreciated with whatever will he could possibly muster. He hoped this child's spirit protected the love of his life for the rest of her days, that was his heart's desire.

Y/n did the same, she willed for her brother to have a good life wherever he was, she wanted him to only feel the good emotions that came with the breath of life, for him to forget his regrets on the Earth and spend his days to the fullest. She hoped until she couldn't anymore and broke down into tears, her head laying to rest on her friend's.

"Felix?"

"Yes, Y/n?" He replied instantly, heart thumping wildly.

"Do you think Marin is happy up there?" She asked, her hand placed on his chest in comfort.

He held in a suprised squeak and smoothly answered, "How could he not be, with a sister like you praying for his well-being with all her heart. I think he's pretty well off."

She laughed, happy with his reply, "Thanks, Felix that means so much to me. You are such an Angel."
