Welp, I'm sorry I didn't post a lot, I am having total writers block. I managed to scrape together some motivation so here is the hermits finding out that Grian is a watcher.

This one-shot is brought to you by Vivi's on purpose insomnia.

Grian POV

Every year, for one day, watchers have to let out their wings. Today is that day. Mine are a beautiful lilac color. I told everyone I was going sand collecting, and I would be gone for the day. It wasn't uncommon for a hermit to disappear for a few days and then come back with shulkers of resources, so they should ent be suspicious. I actually was gathering sand, I did actually need it, so I technically wasn't lying.

I just topped off the first shulker box, when I heard a voice. "Where is he? We've been looking for ages!" Scar complained. No.

"Why would I know?" Doc retorted. Please no.

"You always know! Your smart!" Scar argued. No no no.

"Thank you, but I still don't know where Grian is." Doc said. No. No they can't be here.

"I revoke the comment about you being smart then." Scar declared. Nooo.

"Too late, I already heard it." Doc teased. "Now, Grian said he was mining sand, so he should be here. We need to find him. Hippie land is beating Area 77 and I don't like it." My heart was beating in my throat. Where do I go, what do I do, what can I do! I started frantically looking around for an escape.

"G-grian?" Scar stuttered from behind my back. Oh no.

I turned around. "Uh, I can explain?"

Doc and Scar stared at me. "G-grian, why do you have w-wings?" Scar asked.

"Scratch that, I can't explain. Bye!" I took off, launching myself into the sky. The two reacted instantly, almost like instinct. That makes sense, they capture weird creatures all the time. Doc grabbed what looked like a net gun and started aiming. Scar held his hand out and started chanting something. A large tentacle of green magic came up from the ground and grabbed my ankle. No. I let out a hiss or frustration as I beat my wings faster, wincing at the soreness from flying after not moving for so long. Doc's gun was in fact a net gun, and I found that out when he shot it at me. It tangled in my wings, getting caught in my feathers.

I took in a breath as the ground rushed up at incredible speed. "Grian!" Scar yelled. Blackness crept at the edge of my vision, threatening to overtake me. "Oh no, Grian I'm so sorry!" I felt him panicking while checking my wounds.

     "I-I'm s-so-sorry S-sca-scar. . ." I gave in to the blackness. I'm sorry I didn't tell you.

I watched as Xisuma argued with the other admins. They wanted my body for examination, while X wanted to bury me. "It's not right! He did nothing to harm us the entire time he was here, therefore he counts as one of us! Any one of us deserves a burial!" The other hermits just watched. Mumbo and Iskall were together, just taking it in. Joe was telling Doc and Scar that it wasn't their fault, and that they were just reacting instinctively. The area 77 duo were not listening. I was just looking down at them all, watching. Watching. Watching. "⍑ᒷꖎꖎ੭ ɾ˧ɾ¦⧶ ˙⧸ᒷꖎᑑ⚍ɾ.₋. ꖎ੭⧶˧ ⅂¦ᒲᒷ ⧶੭ ᓭᒷᒷ.₋."

     "⍑ᒷꖎꖎ੭ ᒷ˙⧸ɾ∷ᒷꖎ.₋. ¦ᒲ ∷ᒷɾ⟍̅ǁ ⅂੭ ˧੭ ⧶੭∴.₋." I smiled. I still have one person. Maybe it wasn't all for nothing.

Ok, this was all off the top of my head, so sorry if it's bad. Anyways, thanks for reading!
