My eyes flickered open at the sound of someone yelling ''Lory! Open Up, jeasus"

i looked at the clock, and then at my window where i saw my best friend

I made my way to my window, and opened it angrily

"Eric, its 5 in the morning what are you doing?" i asked, seeing Eric sitting on the tree outside my bedroom window

"get your uniform on and meet me downstairs" Eric insisted, climbing down

i groaned as i shut my window,I put on my uniform and quickly brushed my hair, and cliped it back with a navy blue bow

When i got downstairs i quickly scribbled a note to mom and stuck it on the coffee machine

I grabbed my bookbag, and my shoes and ran outside

Eric was waiting, and i jumped in beside him

Eric had a small pancake in his hand

i gestured for him to give it to me, and he shook his head

"no shoes no service, sorry missy" Eric said, with another bite of his pancake and he started the car

I scoffed as i put my shoes on

"pancake please" i put my hand out for him to give it to me

Eric put the rest in his mouth and smiled "sorry, no more"

"i didnt even have breakfast, we have a test today, dont you remember? i need my strength"  i whinned

"and thats why, were going to Lukes" he said,  pulling over infront of the Diner

"is it even open?" i asked, getting out of the car, eric following

"mhm, should be" Eric said

i went to the door, and looked through the window, Luke was cleaing the counter, i turned the door handle and it didnt open

I knocked on the door, luke turned and looked at me, and he walked to the door, opening it

"uh, hey Lory, Eric, what are you doing here?" He asked, letting us in

"i dont know, ask the genius who woke me up at 5:30" i told him, glaring at Eric while i sat down at the Island

Luke and Eric started talking

"bad service here" i mummbled to myself, got up and walked behind the counter

"is Caesar here?" i asked, refering to Lukes Co-Chef, as i like to call it

"no, he comes in at 7" luke said, and then continued to talk to Eric

i stepped into the kitchen, and looked through the cabnets

i found a bag of frozen mangos in the freezer

"Luke! Wheres your blender!" i asked, putting the bag in my bookbag

"uh, should on that top shelf" he yelled

i got the blender and plugged it in

I cut some mango's, and put them in the blender, along with some vanilla yogurt, and  some milk

"yum" i said, dipping my finger in the yogurt after pressing the 'On' button on the blender

"what are you making in there!" Eric yelled

Luke walked in and shut of the blender "mango?"

"of course" i answered, and he puored my mango smoothie in a plastic cup with a lid

Luke was about to put a green starw in my cup, when i stopped him

"purple" i said, he rolled his eyes and put a purple straw
