The sun tickled my skin and my eyes slowly opened

As i looked around, i relised i had no idea where i was

I was in a bedroom, with pale blue walls, the sheets over me were white with gold flowers

my shoes were leaned up against the bed, and my purse was sat on the night stand

I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes

"fuck" i mummbled, my head was pounding

i got my purse, and searched for my phone (a gift from Grandpa)

Inside my purse was a envelope with my name on it

I pulled out the note and read it to myself

Inside the envelope was his blue rasberry vape

I put the note and the vape back inside the envelope and grabbed my phone, i opened it, just to see that it was dead

i groaned and fell backword onto the bed

"knock knock" a voice said

i sat up and watched as Cassie walked into the room

"you ok pumpkin?" she asked

"my fucking head is killing me" i groaned

"thats called a hangover" she chuckled

"what time is it?" i aaked

"uh" she checked her watch "7pm"

"7?!" i yelled jumping up

"ya, you've been out for awhile" She said

"who's house is this?"

"mine, well ,my parents, but there never home anyway" She looked off into the distance for a split second

"will you drive me home?"

"of course, get your stuff and meet me outside" She said, getting up and walking out the door

i put on my shoes and got my purse

Cassie drove me home, as soon as she got into the driveway, i opened the door and jumped out

"thanks cas!" i said running to the door

"anytime" i heard her say while backing out of the driveway

I opened the door quietly, and shut it even quiter

As i climbed the stairs i took off my shoes

When i walked through the door to my bedroom, i was tackled into a hug

"oh Lory" my mom said into my hair

"im sorry" i said

"dont apologize baby, your here now" she said pulling away and cupping my face with her hands "and thats all that matters"

I nodded slowly

"you did have me worried" She said

"i was at the dance, then i went to a party, and i woke up, at Cassie's" i said "and my head hurts like hell"

"did you have anything to drink at the party?" She asked

i didnt hesitate "yes"

"thats why honey" she kissed my head "you have a hangover"

i whimpered and fell backwords onto my bed

"dont worry, ill go to luke's and ask him to bring over somthing k?"

I nodded

"ill be back" She said, kissed my forehead and walked out of my bedroom

After acouple of minute of silence i heard a voice

"did she yell at you?'' Rory asked from my door

"Mom?" i asked, she nodded "Nope"

"good for you" She said, rather bitterly

"whats got your knickers in a twist?" i asked, sitting up

"nothing nothing, i just find it rather stupif that you go to a dance, you skip half of it and go to some party, and come back almost twenty four hours later, and all you get is a hug" she said "but for me, i go to the dance, and then i go and sit and read at miss pattys, and fall asleep, i get back here at 9am, and i get put on birth control"

"what the fuck are you on about?"

"Mom favorites you!" She yells

"first, ow, my head" i said, rubbing my head "second, you were out with a boy she dosent know for the whole night"

"you were at a party, with multiple boys, and getting drunk, and not to mention wearing a slutty dress"

Now, i was getting pissed

I stood up and walked over to her

"listen Rory, Im not just booksmart like you, i know how to take care of myself, and i know how to interact with men and not get myself on birth control" I spat at her

She scoffed "im the one with the boyfriend, remember"

"You have no idea how fast i could steal him" i said, stepping closer

"i'd like to see you try"

"Dont challenge me Rory, you know ill win"

"lets see about that" She whispers

"Bet"

I slam the door in her face
