"The arm is missing again taylor" i heard my sister say from across the room
Mom and i were asked to help make costumes for the christmas pageant, we accepted
"i can do this on my own you know" MOm said, sewing Kirks sleeve
"im aware"
"i think you should be at home working on your wedding dress"
"ive already got acouple sketches done, and i cant do anything else until i talk with the bride" i tell her
"ok if you say so" She mummbles
"fine" i huff
"youll go home and work on the dress?" She asks
"yes, but, im coming by tomorrow to help" I say
"fine by me, ill be home in a bit" She kisses my cheek and i walk out of Pattys
I walk to the house in the dark, and when i get there, i kick of my sneakers, shut the door, and run upstairs to my bedroom
The big leather book is sat on my bed, along with my sketch pad
I walk up to my dress form and stare at the plain white wedding dress hung on it
"fuck this" i mummble, and grab my phone, i clicked a contact and it started ringing
"hello"
"hello, its Scarlett" i said into the phone
"Scarlett how are you?"
"i doing good, you?"
"no complaining"
"i was wondering if we could meet up sometime and disscus your dress" i said
"of course" Rose replied happily fro mthe other end "can you come out tomorrow?"
"ya sure"
She gave me her adress, we said goodbye, and i hung up
I change into an oversized black hoodie and layed in bed

I drove passed chiton, and about ten minutes later, i was in the country, but wealthy country
I found house number 568, and parked my car in the driveway, i got out, and checked my outfit
A black skirt with a red long sleeved shirt, black heels, and a dakr green headband, with my black small bookbag
I grabbed the garment bag from the backseat and walked up to the front door

About, two minutes later ,the cutest boy opened the door

"you must be Scarlett"
i nod
He gives me a warm smile "im Noah"
"nice to meet you"
"come in" he opens the door, and i walk ni, she shuts the door behind me
"my mom is in the living room" i nod and he walks me to the living room
Rose is looking througha replica of the book she gave me, her hair in a side ponytail, and reading glasses on her head
"hi" i said
She looked up and smiled "Scarlett, nice to see you again"
"Nice to see you too" i chirp
"i see you've met my son noah" She says,
i nod
"im sure you've met my daughter, shes in your grade"
"maybe"
"she'll be down in a bit" She turns to Noah "can you go make us some tea, darling?"
"sure" he winks at me befroe walking into the kitchen
she gestures for me to sit beside her, i do and watch her flip throug the book
"have you brought the dress?" She asks
I nod "this is just the base, i can add lace, or puff or a color if you'd like" i take it out of the bag and hold it up
She feels the fabric
"a little bland, dont you think?"
"yes, but, i didnt really know what you wanted" i said
"do whatever feels right, i have faith in you" she says happily "the wedding is soon, i want to have it before it starts getting below zero, you know?"
i nod
"do your best, and if i dont like what you make, ill order a bland one"
i nod again
"mom, can i go over to Cassies house?" i hear a voice say from behind me, i turn around and see my blonde bestie
"holly?"
"Scarlett?" she says in disbelief "this is your designer mom?"
