"this town meeting will come to order" Miss Patty said, standing infront of everyone
"no one is listening to me" Taylor huffed beside her
"oh, taylor, calm down"
"i cant calm down, i'm being persecuteed" he insisted, i rolled my eyes
"i promise that we hear you" Patty assured him
"we've been hearing you for twenty minutes" Andrew yelled and stood up from the seat infront of us
"well excuse me andrew, but some of us have businesses to run that dont involve peddling drug paraphernalia to kids" Taylor spat
"it was a lava lamp taylor" Andrew told him
"there is no use for a lava lamp unless your selling drugs"
"i bought one of those lava lamps, a purple one" i whispered to rory
"oh for crying out loud" Andrew huffed
"now, we've already agreed to look into your accusations, lets just move on" Miss Patty said
Mom then slides into her seat next to me, carrying food and drinks
"what did i miss?" She whispered to us
"Taylor Doose wants the no parking zone infront of his store removed, he says his customers are being unfailry ticketed" Rory told her
"no, its just because he wants to park there all day" Mom said, sipping her drink
"Genuis" Rory replied
"i have been mayor of this fine town for a long time, i tend to think of all of you as my fchildren, unfortunatley sometimes children have to be disciplined, now, im going to say somthing, and im only going to say it once, we have leash laws people" The mayor said
"daddys getting angry" Mom and i whispered, and rory snickered
"rover will not leash himself"
"hm good point" rory mummbled
"i would like to now move on to somthing of even greater inportance, as you all know this coming friday is the anniversity of the legendary battle of stars hallow" We all clap
"wheres look?" Mom whispered
"up there" Rory replied
"penny will be circing a sign up sheet for those of you who would like to participate in the reenactment of foresaid battle" He said
"he's turning red" Rory whispered, referring to Luke
"all right. it was a frigid November night, 224 years ago" He started
"hes shifting in his seat" i whsipered
"the brave Stars Hallow militia stood in wait for the red coasts"
"hes adjusting his cap" Rory said quietly
"Tired and hungry, twelve proud men took their positions in the towns square, braving the elements..."
"hes fighting the urge, hes fighting the urge" i mummbled to them
"....and imminent death in their valiant efforts..."
"oh for gods sake, do we have to go through this every damn year!" luke yelled standing up
"yesss" mom said
"and the urge wins by a long shot" i said
"i thought we were here to discuss town issues" Luke said
"this is a town issue" Luke said
