"bye" Rory hung up the phone after talking to mom
"its really snowing hard" Grandma said, standing by the window
"theres got to be about 5 inches out there" i replied
Granpa took his eyes off the paper and looked out the window like the rest of us
"whos car is in the driveway?" He asked
"thats Lorys, the Fisher boys gave it to her" Grandma told him, with a cheeky grin
"Adams boys? Great golf player he is, good family" he mummbled then went back to his news paper
the phone ringed and grandma picked up, after a three minute conversation she hung up
"eric got locked out of his house, somthing about his mother being two hours away and how he lost his house key" i almost chocked on my water
Today, Holly, Cassie and i hid Erics house key ay the back of the vending machine by our lockers
"so hes coming and staying the night here" She finished
Rory, grandpa and grandma went into the kitchen to find supper
There was a knock at the door five minutes later, i opened it, and there stood Eric in his dark bluw winter coat
"get in here you goof" i said ussering him in and shutting the door
He shivered as he took off his coat and shoes
"pizzas in the oven" Rory said, leaving the kitchen and walking upstairs
"you in the mood for some pizza?" i asked eric
A bit later, we all sat at the table eating pizza
"so wheres your mother tonight Eric?" Emily asked the boy beside me
"she had a meeting with the bride for the wedding Lory's designing a dress for" Eric replied, taking a sip of his Coke
"Your Designing a dress?" Grandma asked
"ya. its no big deal" i shrugged and took a bite of my pizza
"it certainly is, tell us about the wedding" She insited
i put down my pizza "ok, er, Her names Rose, and shes having a cute little backyard wedding, with lots of flowers and plants, the bridesmaids dresses are gonna be red velvet-" i started
"i mean about the dress darling" Grandma said, bitintg her pizza
"oh, i havent thought about what its gonna look like yet" i admited
"im sure whatever you make will be just perfect" Grandma said, putting her hand ontop of mine
"hopefully"

sorry for the short chapter! i promised id get a part out today and ive been really busy lately with school and such, but i promise the next chapter will be longer <3
