Where Do We Go When We Die | Colby Brock

Torot Reading.

“I like to keep the house cleansed, we actually had a medium come out to cleanse the house because of the death” Venessa says “oh wait there was a death in here? Wait im so confused right now, the death is in this house, not the cabin?” Colby asks “yeah” Venessa Confirms “oh god we got confused” Sam says “wait that door opened when you said about the death in this house that makes it so much worse” Colby says 

“I lived here alone for the first six months I lived here and I was really scared I would be in the kitchen like washing dishes and always be like looking over my shoulder, hearing lots of creeks i had a roommate for a while who stayed here who said she could see spirits and she's like there are all kinds of things in this house” Venessa says 

“Wait yn did you feel anything when we got here?” Colby asks “well i felt some stuff but i didnt want to say anything cause like if i have just met someone and i go to their house or something i dont really like saying like ‘yo you have a demon in your home’ cause i dont know how they would react or if they would want to know” i explain. “Oh yeah i would probably cry if someone just said that to me” Corey says “true” Colby says agreeing. 

We all take turns in shuffling the tarot cards and then vanessa starts the reading, “okay dont be afraid” she says laying out three cards one of them being death, “none of them are evil” She adds “not even this one?” Sam asks, pointing at the death card “it’s not what you think… so the tower can usually indicate like upheaval and chaos there's literally people like being thrown from a burning building…” Vanessa says

“... when everything collapses you have to rebuild so chaos isn’t always a bad thing it can lead to like the next chapter of your life which is actually tied to the death card-” “the next chapter in my life is death?” Sam asks “-no” Vanessa says “okay” Sam says relieved “it’s like death of an era, death really means like new beginnings starting over-” Vanessa starts when she is interrupted by a noise upstairs “are there creeks in this place a lot or is that not normal?” Sam asks “its normal” she says “do you know what it could be?” Colby asks me “i honestly just see someone doing their stuff like normal daily chores” I say. 

“And then this one is all about fear and anxiety, sometimes this card can actually mean that it's more in your head like you know those nights that you're all night and you can't sleep and you're terrified but it's not something real that you're scared of it's more of like something you're imagining something that your like making up in your head…” Vanessa explains on the last card “yeah” everyone agrees understanding what she is saying. “...so to me this says that you guys are going to be more afraid than you actually need to be”.

We head out to the car after saying goodbye to vanessa and start to drive to the area we are going to camp for the night. “We’re heading through the forest, and oh my god this place is creepy-” Sam says pointing the camera outside the car window “-so we’re going to find a spot to park up and set up” “this one” Colby announces “im just gonna pull into this one” he adds pulling in to a clearing on the side of the road. 

“Ok guys lets get our green on and start” Sam says and we all get out of the car. “This place is heavy” I say standing up out of the car “really?” Colby asks looking at me and pointing the camera at me “yeah, a lot has happened here” I say, Sam throws the socks at Corey, “guess what” Colby says to corey as he puts the socks on his hands “what brother?” he asks “we’re setting up camp” Colby says “where brother?” Corey asks “over there brother” Colby says pointing to and area in the trees “wel wherever we can find a camp site” Sam says “its fucking cold brother” Corey shouts 

I grab my bag out of the car and make sure that my pens and notebook is in there, “what was that?”Corey and Sam ask referring to a weird noise that came from further into the forest “it was like a weird growl type thing” Sam says “i didnt here anything but the wind” Colby says.
