ILANG ORAS narin nang magsimula ang birthday party ni Martin at hindi na rin muling nakita ni Georgina ang mag ama matapos ang batian kanina na ikinasiya niya. Val and Uncle Von already left the place earlier dahil may kailangan pang puntahan ang mga ito. There, she's alone again. Gusto na rin niyang umuwi pero kabilin bilinan ni Lincon na kailangan niya raw tapusin ang okasyon dahil iyon din ang habilin ng kaniyang ama. She's too frustrated with that.

Mabuti na rin at hindi na niya nakikita pa sina Reichen. Bukod sa naiirita siya sa mga ito ay hindi talaga siya komportableng nasa paligid ang mga ito.

"Hi," someone said, napalingon si Georgina sa nagsalita and t's Giovanni's Fiancée- the Lazovsky princess.

Umalis na siya kanina pa mula sa loob ng party at nagtungo rito sa may pool area sa likurang bahagi ng Villa. May paunti unti ring tao ang nandoon at nag-si-swimming.

"Yes, hello?" she replied back to her, half confused as to why she is talking to her. Hindi man ito nakangiti pero medyo friendly ang pag-approach nito sa kaniya.

Naalala niya iyong eksena sa school, the way she handled the situation with that girl. This Lazovsky princess looks snobbish but still the classy one. Her tone of voice is too calm, unlike her fierce look. She looks prettier too sa malapitan. Her Russian features are more noticeable too.

"You look familiar to me, have we met before? Are you one of Giovanni's friends?" tanong nito.

"Ah, no. We're schoolmates but we are not close. I only came here because my father got an invitation." she quickly answered. Why do people always think she is friends with those brats?

Tumango tango ito, uminom sa glass wine na hawak. Her eyes are not leaving hers. "My bad, where are my manners? I'm Savannah Lazovsky. You are?" bigla ay sambit nito. Inilahad nito ang palad sa kaniya.

Georgina took her hand, "Georgina Kim Andrade." pakilala niya rin dito.

After that ay natahimik silang dalawa at nakamasid lang sa mga lumalangoy sa pool. From the looks of it, mukhang hindi rin sanay sa ganitong okasyon ang babae.

"I'm Giovanni's fiancee," sambit nito out of the blue.

Naguguluhang napatingin si Georgina sa babae, "I think everyone in school knows that news," sambit nalang niya. Wari kasing may gustong itong ipahatid sa sinabi.

Like as if aagawin niya si Giovanni rito. Nah.

Bigla itong tumawa, "Damn, news is a lot faster than the traffic here," napailing ito, she took a sip from her wine again. "I was just wondering if someone will object to this marriage. I guess there's none? Too bad..." dagdag pa nito.

Georgina stared at her for a moment. Para kasing... "You seemed opposed to your own marriage," ani niya. Hindi naman tumitingin sa kaniya si Savannah. "Ah, marriage for convenience, is that it?"

Savannah turned and grinned at her, mas lalong naging fiercer ang itsura nito. There's something odd playing on her green eyes-like as if she has a mischievous plan.

"I like how you grasp the situation rather quickly," her grins never disappeared. "My father set this marriage for me, I never really wanted to get married. You see, I only reach eighteen and the next thing I knew is I am getting married to some unknown person. Well, Giovanni and his father are not really strangers to us but he and I only converse if it's needed. We never bond nor get to know each other."
