Part 4 ~ An Auspicious day

My eyes flickered open as the bright sunlight entered my chamber , I got up from the bed and went towards the window , as I opened the window the cool breeze hit my face and a small smile crept on my face automatically , I looked outside and the beautiful view of the lakes captured my eyes , I kept staring at them for a while before coming back to my bed , my eyes went towards the clock

" 6 AM " I whispered to myself and got up from the bed to get ready , Today is a very Important Day , the success party of our new project , I invited everyone - My Employees , collegues , business tycoons , friends , and ofcourse press and media 

I went towards the bathing room to take a bath , after 20 minutes , I came back with a towel wrapped around my waist , I went towards the dressing room to get dressed , I wore a white colored kurta with a maroon colored overcoat , embroidered brown juttis , my Rolex watch , applied my favorite Cologne , and the most important thing - my shahi pagdi and my sword ( I don't usually wear it but today I wanted to make it more traditional and ethnical )

After getting ready , I exited the room  with the same serious face , the palace was beautifully decorated with flowers and candles , the lights and the candles complimenting each other , as I walked down the galleries , I was approached by my attendees and my Bodyguards , they followed me behind

I reached towards the Living area and the attendees were running here and there for the last minutes preparations

I was welcomed by the sweet smile of Dadisa

" Adi , you got ready this early
morning ? " She asked with an amusement plastered on her face

" Ji Dadisa " I replied as I bowed to touch her feet , she blessed me and said

" I thought , atleast today , you would
wake up late " She said

" Dadisa , you know , I can't change my rules , each and every minute is important and I don't want to waste my time by resting " I said

" yeah yeah , who am I talking to , I already knew the answer but still I asked
you " She said shaking her head slightly , I smiled and hugged her , she broke the hug and said

" by the way , you are looking so handsome in this kurta and shahi pagdi " She stated and I smiled at her

" Thanks for the Compliment , Badi
Ranisa " I said as I kissed the top of her hand , she patted my cheeks lightly and smiled

" my Child , I'm so happy today , finally you got the deal that you were skipping your meals and sleep for " She said as I sensed the worry in her voice

" Dadisa , I'm totally fine and I'm not weak who will die just by skipping some meals and sleep " I stated and she slapped my cheek lightly

" why do you always say things like this , I don't like this at all , I know you have always showed your power and valour, I know you are all rounder whether It's Business or the Palace duties but please don't say things like this  " She said

" I was just joking , Dadisa " I said and she hugged me lightly

" okay , Mr Choudhary would be here anytime soon , I'll go and check
everything " I said and she broke the hug , she kissed my forehead and I smiled at her

" Aapko yaad hai na hume Durga maa ke mandir jaana hai aashirwaad lene
ke liye " ( After that , you remember na , we have to go to Maa Durga's temple for the
blessings ) She said and I nodded
