Part 28 ~ Final Decision

Aditya's pov

I sent a car at the airport to receive Kabir , he finally reached , Tara and I were waiting for his arrival , with a slight nervousness bubbling in me, for tara . She was already so nervous and I didn't want to make her feel any kind of pain because I knew what was coming next , it was clearly not going to be easy .

" Adi , How am I looking ? " Tara asked as she came and showed me her black colored dress , I smiled softly and nodded

" Looking beautiful as always , I wish kabir falls for you for the 398th time " I teased her and she blushed

" Stop it , Adi " Her face was totally red as she blushed more and more . Suddenly I got a call and it was Kabir

" Hello , You've reached , wait we're coming " I hung up the call as I looked at Tara and she looked at me curiously

" He is here " I murmured as I looked at her and she smiled widely

( As we made our way towards the main door , I couldn't help but feel Tara's nervousness , which seemed to dissipate, I held her hand and she started to relax . We made our way out and saw him standing at the door , still that Tall , dark , handsome man , whom I met 2 years ago , Tara's then friend and now boyfriend .

He smiled and hugged Tara tightly , I just smiled and looked away , giving the couple some privacy . They had their moment and then they turned towards me , Kabir moved ahead and we both hugged each other . I could see that Kabir was genuinely happy , and it warmed my heart to see them together , atleast they're are happy and I really wish that they make it , I want them together , they seemed so much in love .

Tara turned to me and said , "Adi , thank you so much . I know it's not easy for you , atleast I've someone by my side who understands me and my love for kabir "

I gave her a reassuring smile and patted her head

" Tara, it's you both , against the world, remember ? You are in this with him , and as long as you both are together , you can get through anything , if you guys need any help , you have me , you know that " I patted her head and she hugged me lightly , kabir smiled too and chimed in , " That's right, Taru . We have each other , no one can separate us " he replied and I nodded

" Chalo , Abhi tum jaa kar rest Karo , phir hum mauka dekhke Shashank uncle se baat karte hain " ( You go and rest now , I'll try to talk to Shashank uncle whenever I get a chance ) I said as I gestured him to move , he nodded and went away with Tara . I called Surya and he took Kabir's luggage in his chamber

( A sense of uneasiness gripped my heart , I didn't want Tara to get heartbroken , she was too precious and I didn't want her to be sad or upset , I just wanted the best for her , and It was Kabir who can do that , A feeling of discomfort arose within me as I thought about Tara . She was an invaluable gem and the thought of her experiencing sadness or distress was unbearable. My sole desire was for her happiness and well-being and it was my belief that Kabir possessed the capacity to bring out the best in her. My concern for her emotional state intensified, as I envisioned the pain and disappointment that heartbreak could bring. She was an emotional person and I know that . It was crucial for me to ensure her happiness and protect her from any potential suffering .
