Chapter 31 "its been a while.."

Selena was in the rooftop to get some fresh air. Suddenly someone talked and she turned around to see who it was.

Axel : "I knew I'd find you here." He was struggling to walk towards Selena.

Selena was really concerned and was about to help him but she force herself not to.

Axel : "It's been a long time Selena."

Selena : "It's been a while, Axel."

Axel : "So.. Congrats. You're already a doctor, just like you've wished for."

Selena : "yea, and what about you? Did you get what you wanted?"

Axel : "Not exactly, You know naman."

Selena : "Well atleast you're now a CEO diba?"

Axel : "I don't care about it anymore. All I care is that I'm already rich enough to spoil my future wife and daughter rotten."

Selena : "Oh Megan? You two would make a great family. Congratulations. " she tried to smile.

Axel : "oh uhm..i guess.."

Selena looked sad but tried to smile.

Axel : "but deep down. I'm still in love with this person I'm trying to forget. "

They looked at each other's eyes deeply. But Selena excuse herself.

Selena : "Uhm, sorry Axel. Let's talk later. May gagawin pa pala ako."

Then she walked away and Axel tried to stop her but she didn't listen.

Selena walked into Yasmin's office to confront her.

Yasmin : "Oh? Ang dami ko pang mga patient Selena mamaya na."

Selena : "Ay sorry sige punta ka lang sa office ko."

2 hours later, Yasmin knocked the door into Selena's office and talked to her.

Yasmin : "Anong nangyari?"

Selena : "Ughhh! Bat pa kasi siya bumalik."

Yasmin : "Selena naman, don't you realize na yung break up niyo isn't clear enough?"

Selena : "It's really clear, he cheated on me with Megan.. "

Yasmin : "You don't really know..Baka lang naman na force sila nung parents nila diba?"

Selena : "Hindi ko na talaga alam anong gagawin ko."

Yasmin : "Follow your heart, hear what your heart deeply desires."

Selena : "Thanks doc.. Feel ko mas bagay ka mag therapist."

Yasmin : "Gago" tumawa siya.

Selena : "Uwi na muna ako."

Yasmin : "Sige mag ingat ka."

Selena left but suddenly it started raining really hard.

Selena : "tangina naman oh! Aish"

she has nothing else to do but to get wet in the rain because the parking lot where she park her car was still far away.

After walking for few mins, she drove off and went home.

She took a bath after she got home, she was really wet.

Suddenly her head started to hurt and she was feelings Ill.

She decided to sleep and the next morning.

She couldn't even look clearly when she woke up because she was feeling dizzy.

She took her temperature and she was indeed sick. After that Yasmin called her.

Yasmin : "asan ka?"

Selena : "hindi muna ako papasok ngayon, may lagnat yata ako. Pahinga muna ako."

Yasmin : "sure ka kaya mo? Sige pupunta ako diyan pagkatapos ng work ko."

Selena : "sige." Then she hung off the phone. And dozed off.

Axel knocked onto yasmin's office.

Yasmin : "goodevening sir Hernandez. How can I help you today."

Axel : "where is sele- I mean doc Perez? I supposed to have a check up. Because I am going home right?

Yasmin : "Yes that's true but sorry Axel pero wala siya ngayon eh."

Axel looked worried.

Axel : "Why what happened to her?"

Yasmin : "may lagnat daw siya, kaya nagpahinga nalang muna."

Axel : "Can you give me yasmin's address?"

Yasmin : "H-ha? Bakit?"

Axel : "just give it to me."

Yasmin looked confused but still gave Axel Selena's address.

Megan : "asan ka pupunta?"

Axel : "I uhm uh I'll go talk to Selena."

Megan : "I'll go with you."

Axel : "no need."

Megan : "pero-" but Axel looked mad and said "Wag na nga I'll be back stay here."

Megan : "atleast ride a taxi, di kapa pwede mag drive."

Axel : "okay that's no big deal I'll go now."

Megan looked mad and annoyed. It's been 11 years. It was a biggest regret that they came back to Philippines. She didn't want Axel to see Selena again.
