Sanctuary

"There it is" joe said excitedly as he poked ben who quickly looked up to sees a little community with tall walls and a few warning signs. "A new life" ben said to himself as the group approached the front gate; joe then peaked out the window of the truck and puts his face up to the intercom. "its joe let me in i got people with me!" joe yelled as he smiled. Moments later the gates opens for the group allowing the truck and rv to drive in. They then parked and each member cautiously got out. "We can trust these people right?" Ben asked quietly as the group were approached and greeted by a man who stood in front of them with a big smile  "you guys look so tired welcome home,welcome to sanctuary"...

The man was older and was dressed formally. Nick grabbed for his knife but was interrupted by ben who moved nick's hand back to his side. "Lets see how this plays out" ben whispered as nick nodded and the group let the man approach them. He then stuck his hand out and shook each member's hand. "hello my name is Gregory if you would please follow me I'll show you guys to your quarters." The man said as he led the group through a long street full of people. "Do you guys ever worry about being attacked?" Mason asked as he looked over at a huge burn mark on one of the walls that kept the community safe. "Of course but there's Nothing out there that we can't handle" Gregory said as the group approached the residence suite. "you guys are gonna like it here" he said as the group reached the suite doors. "after all of you get settled in come to the mess hall for supper and meet the other resistance of sanctuary" Gregory said as he smiled and stood at the door. joe then looked at everyone with a smile; his face was still covered in blood. "see u guys in the mess hall" he said as he followed Gregory through a red door. "Wait your going too?" Mason asked as he looked at joe who despite the world ending seemed extremely happy. "Yea I have to check on a few things but I'll meet you at the mess hall in a few minutes" joe said as he smiled and walked out the door. "Alright everyone freshing up and keep an eye on these people,we don't know what to expect" ben said as the crew went into each of their rooms but before they could close their doors nate began freaking out. "forget this im not touching anything of thiers! I prefer the rv it's more safer!" nate screamed as everyone looked confused. "why" ben asked but was interrupted by nate. "i won't let them brain wash me" he yelled as he turned away and left the building. "He'll come around" ben said as the group went back to getting settled. "do you think its safe here" kenley asked as he looked out the window to see the people outside working. "Everyone seems happy so we'll have to wait it out and see" Ben explained as the group changes into fresh clothes and a few minutes later head to the mess hall where joe could be seen waiting for everyone. "Welcome to the mess hall" joe shouted excitedly as ben looked over to see a person who looked like one woman in the street back at the clubhouse. "The walking dead" Ben said jokingly to himself as he walked away to get food. as all this goes down Kenley hears two resistance talking about the cdc building blowing up in atlanta. Kenley then walked over to the two boys. "what are u talking about guys is that true" Kenley said as both boys looked at him with the a smirk and invited him to sit down as they discussed the tragedy to him. "If you ever go to Atlanta stay away from that area we heard the walkers are smarter there" one of the boys explained as Kenley's eyes widened "oh my god are you guys for real?" he asked as the boys nodded in agreement. yelling soon could be heard outside while lunch was still being served. "What the hell" Ben said aloud as the group jumped up and rushed outside out of curiosity to see a group of people surrounding what looked like two men having a standoff. "put the gun down sir" a guard yelled out at what seems to be nate who was heavily breathing. "Give me my shotgun back now!" Nate screamed as he aimed his pistol at the guard causing everyone around to panic as he accidentally fired a shot at the guard who was luckily saved by his armor. The guard quickly aimed his gun and fired two shots at nate..

Nate hit the ground and laid there. "you dumb bastards you'll attract those things god damn it!".Gregory yelled as he came out his office. "walkers" one of his gaurds Gabriel corrected him."i don't give a damn what they are called they are dangerous and if they get in we could be screwed ugh get back to your post Gabriel and someone get that injured kid to an infirmary!" Gregory yelled as he walked back into his office. The group then watched as Nate was stretchered away causing the entire group to follow behind their friends except Ben who stood where his friend was laying. "Hey man you ok" Killy asked as he walked up to Ben who began shaking his head trying to unsee what he just saw a few minutes ago. "What the hell was he thinking" ben asked while two men ran up and began cleaning the blood from off the ground. "Hey I know a place you can go to clear your head" Killy said as he began walking with Ben to his choice of destination. A few minutes later the two eventually reached an old looking church. "An old church? Dude it looks like nobody's been in here for a long time why did you bring me here?" Ben asked as the two looked at the rusted church. "Well as the new pastor i think all it needs is a little TLC" Killy said to the shock of Ben who smiled proudly at his friend. Upon arriving at the church they opened the big golden doors and began walking towards the lecture. "Hey man I'm sorry but I don't think I can be the leader that you guys need.. Im thinking about leaving"Ben said aloud as he looked over to see killy sitting on a pew praying. "Hey were you even listening?" Ben asked with annoyance on his face. '"Yes I heard but before you leave think about how much faith those guys have in you especially little clementine who now needs a leader to keep her and the rest of us all safe, come sit I have a story to tell you" killy said as he patted the seat beside him inviting him to sit. Ben then sat down beside Killy who placed his katana next to him and began telling Ben a story "before all this went down i was riding around with Damien and his friend aron where we were all just cutting stuff with my katana and listening to music till some lady grabbed aron and chomped down on his leg and outta anger Damien killed the lady in cold blood and without thinking we carried aron to a store which was abandoned,not a single person in sight so we grabbed the store phone and tried to call 911 but the service was out then i went to get ice out the freezer for aron but when i got back Damien looked out of it! I knew something was wrong the way he looked back at me until he finally told me that aron stopped breathing. i told him to get away and that we needed supplies but aron reanimated and came at Damien so i had to kill him...but when i did Damien yelled at me saying we could have saved him and that he was our friend. Out of frustration he started trying to hit me until we heard gunshots and took cover behind the clerk desk. Damien had his pistol out and was ready but then shots began firing in the store. Damien gave me the bag of supplies and told me to go out the back, i didn't want to leave him but i knew it was for the better so i left out the back and ran as fast as i could, i heard all the gunshot fire until i was far enough to rest but then i just kept moving,kept surviving until i got to the city and then finally saw joe run to help angelina and the walker attacking him so i came to his rescue. Faith is what kept me going, it's also what lead me back to you guys so always keep faith in your leadership" killy explained as he looked down. ben knowing Damien placed his hand on killy's shoulder. "im sorry Killy I hope he's still out there somewhere maybe faith will bring him back to us" ben said as killy smiled and joined him in prayer. Alexa and angelina are seen in the infirmary with an injured nate. "What were you thinking risking your life over a shotgun huh you used to be so level headed now I'm scared I'll never be able to talk you again.. I don't think we've ever said that we love each other and I'm regretting it so badly rn" angelina said to herself as tears flowed down her face. Alexa hears and smiles "aw why don't you tell him when he is conscious" Alexa said as she looked at angelina. "i l..l..love u too" nate said weakly. As he struggled to speak . "i went crazy because i thought that shotgun was the last part of who I am but almost dying made me realize that shotgun is worthless compared to our love i promise when I get better I'll..." he said as he slipped into unconsciousness."rest" angelina said as she kissed his forehead. mason and Chloe stood together watching a far away walker in a field trying to hunt down a balloon which was way to high up in a tree. they both laughed as it stumbled over "let me get serious for a few seconds, I need to teach you how to survive but I barely know how myself" mason said to himself as he looked at his sister who made a face of concern. "We'll learn together but I need to tell you something that a saw... that I haven't been able to unsee."Chloe said aloud as she looked down to the ground sadly "What's that?" mason asked as he looked concernly at Chloe who took a deep breath. "There's something wrong with Nate... I saw him murder Clementine's mom right in front of me! it was like he was possessed the way he blankly fired the shot." Chloe said as the moment replayed in her head. "That must've been tough to see but you're strong you'll probably have to see more of that in the future. First lesson in this new world is that you have to be cautious all the time, be careful who you trust, and never show your weakness." Mason explained as Chloe nodded and the two smiled and continue to watch the walker. Kenley is out in the garden eating an apple when he's approached by two boys, one of which was the boy who told him about the CDC. "hey u wanna join our cult" one of the boys asked as the other grinned. "cult for what?" Kenley asked unsure of the two boys intentions. "a brotherhood" the kid answered while Kenley not knowing what to say just nodded and decided to join. the kid then pulled out a needle and pricked Kenley with it and outta anger he pounced on the kids delivering blow after blow until the other kid pinned him down. "your blood is the way into the cult let it flow out" the kid yelled as he poked kenley with the needle, Kenley then watched as his blood dripped into the cup and felt one the boy get off of him. "Caden thanks you!" one said as he smirked. Kenley then watched as the two boys ran off still holding the cup in their hands which was full of Kenley's blood, "come back" Kenley struggled to say as the two boys smiled at each other. Everything went blurry, all Kenley could see was the world spinning around him. as he laid there still feeling the blood pour out,he couldn't move but he could hear footsteps walking up to him. he looked up to see a figure pick him up and began running him somewhere. A couple minutes later Kenley woke up looking around confusedly until his eyes landed over at nate who is seen drinking some soup and also noticed Kenley had woken up "what are u here for "nate asked as he took another sip of his soup "fighting what about you" kenley asked as he turned to look at nate "you heard the gunshots 2 days ago well that was me shooting and the guy who brought you here, Gabriel's the name right? well he put me in here" nate answered as Kenley looked at him in shocked. Angelina walked in just before he could say another word to visit nate. "has anyone seen Shauna?" Angelina asked while pacing around nervously. "last time we saw her was a few hours ago im getting concerned we need a search team out there" she said as ben walked in with Gregory who cocked his left eyebrow up in confusion. "Charlie's gone i want joe mason nick and Ben to go search I also have Gabriel going too but he's already been sent out." Gregory explained as ben began loading his pistol. The door quickly slammed opened. "where's Chloe?" Mason yelled as he came storming into the room.

A couple minutes later Gregory is seen standing near the community gates as he watched six of his men go out to search for the missing people. The mess hall could be seen empty as a figure slipped into the back of the kitchen where he walked into a back office and slammed the door behind him. "We're one step closer to the end" a voice said into a radio as a man is seen putting Kenley's blood into a a mini cryogenic fridge, "propaganda" the man said as he finds a bloody knife with a note attached to it which read "the cult is posion" he then disposed of the knife but not the note ...
