The Fall

Kenley could be seen sitting by a fire in the woods looking down as all he could think about was his friends. "Why did those people attack us?" Kenley shouted as Amaya gave him a sad look. "That's what Vickery does, He just takes and hurts everyone that gets in his way." Amaya explained as a walker began limping over. "I got it!" She shouted as she began walking towards over to it drawing a knife. "Stop just let this one go!" Kenley shouted as he got up quickly and jumped in front of her eventually convincing her to put her knife away while He turned around and faced the walker. "I wanna try something." He explained as he reached his hand out and began walking slowly to the walker. "What the hell are you doing?!" Amaya asked as he smiled at her. "Trust me!" Kenley yelled as he got closer to the walker who just stood there staring at the duo. "It's not attacking?" Amaya said nervously as she watched Kenley place his hands up to the living corpse's face as it just stood there. "I knew it." Kenley said with a smile as he gently touched its face. "How long did you know you could control them?" Amaya asked while giving a confused look. "Ever since what happened back at sanctuary my perspective for them changed like a switch, I felt like i truly understand them. "Ok? That means?" Amaya asked as Kenley smiled at the walker. "Before all this I felt like them, Like I'm forever just wandering never satisfied." Kenley said calmly as a tear fell from his face. "Wow." Amaya said calmly as she reached to place her hands on his shoulder to console him until the walker lunged at her causing her to jump back. "Guess he didn't like that." Kenley said jokingly as Amaya rolled her eyes. "Maybe we can use this to our advantage for a payback against that Vickery guy!" Kenley said excitedly as something from his excitement caused the walker to break out of its trance-like state. "Shit!" Kenley screamed as Amaya quickly stabbed through its skull causing Kenley to look away. "Guess we got a lot to work on." Amaya said as the pair smiled at each other. "If I'm right the evac is north, We just better hope everyone made it out Al..." Kenley said as Moans filled the air causing Amaya to quickly kneel next to the dead walker. " What're you doing?" Kenley asked as he watched her cut open the walker and began smearing its blood all over her face and arms. "Unlike you, any scent of me will draw them all on us!" Amaya explained loudly as she threw the walker to the ground and stood next to Kenley. The hoard of the undead came out the forest surrounding the duo. "You ready?" She asked as Kenley nervously nodded as the hoard began to move closer and closer to the duo. Kenley looked into the hoard to see something that caught his attention. "Is that?" Kenley asked himself as He and Amaya were eventually inside the large hoard.

Mason is seen walking with Chloe and the two men down a city street. "We were escaping Vickery's base when we passed through this town where we met this man who said he could help us get back home but next thing you know there were more waiting for us, I barely escaped thanks to theses two but they grabbed Shauna! This is all my faul.." Chloe said as she was cut off by a car pulling up. It pulled up right next the group and stood still. "Don't shoot!" Gabriel screamed loudly as he jumped out the car with his hands up. "What the hell are you doing here? You're supposed to be protecting Gregory!" Mason asked as he looked confusedly at  him and back at his group. "I was sent to help And by the look of things it seems you need it." Gabriel said as one of the men quickly got in his face. "So you think I can't handle myself?" The man said as he stared Gabriel in the face. "Relax Rico we need him." Mason demanded as the man quickly stepped back still giving Gabriel a look. "So now what?" Gabriel asked as he looked around. "Chloe has a connection who's going to help us get Shauna back, we're just waiting on him." Mason explained as the other man noticed another car driving past. "Chris? You good?" Mason asked as he saw the man make a confused look. "Nothing i think I'm seeing stuff." The other man explained as an older man could be seen slowly approaching with his hand out. "You Chloe?" He asked as he slowly walked closer. "Yea you must be.." Chloe said as she was cut off by other people hitting the group over the head knocking them all out. "Good." He said aloud as he smirked. A couple minutes passed and everything is blurry as mason is seen being dragged down a sidewalk into what seemed to be a recycling center. "Wake up boy!" A voice yelled as mason opened his eyes to see a tall man standing above him. "Chloe!? You oka..." Mason said as he looked around anxiously until he saw Chloe who was hogtied beside him. "Shut up and start talking! Why are you here!?" The man screamed as everyone stared at him. "We're just looking for a friend, You let us go you'll never see a single one of us again i promise!" Mason said calmly as the man smirked. "I don't think you understand what this is, well let me explain! As of now your our dinner! Just like your friend was before!" The man yelled as Chloe quickly looked over at him angrily. "Once I get untied I'm killing you!  That's a promise!" She let out as the man stepped closer. "Leave her alone! Chloe don't listen to him just do what he says don't fight!" Mason demanded as he watched his little sister try to intimidate the man who let out a smile. "Shut up!" The man yelled as he got in Chloe face testing her emotions. "You wanna stab me don't you?" He whispered to her as he looked over at mason quickly giving him a wink and a smirk. "I do! So badly." Chloe said calmly as she looked the man in the eyes. "Here take your shot." The man said as he handed her a knife and placed his hands behind his back. "Chloe! Stop, He's baiting you!" Mason yelled as she ignored him and swung the blade at the man who smiled as he quickly grabbed her arm squeezing it tightly. "You have 5 seconds to draw this knife into my neck or I'll kill everyone in your group including the girl we have in the back." The man said while he continued to hold her arm as Chloe struggled to push the knife towards him. The group watched as the man looked back at his men and let out a laugh. He squeezed harder causing Chloe to yell out in Pain. "See, This happens all the time boys! We get a group who think their so tough until they run into us!" The man yelled as his tight grip caused Chloe to drop the knife and fall to her knees. "Aw giving up? I thought you wanted to kill me!  Guess not." He yelled as one of his men picked up the knife and scurried back behind the man. "Let go of her! Mason yelled as the man quickly let go of Chloe's arm and walked over to him. "I think we have a ballsy one boys!" The man yelled as Rico stepped up next to the man and began staring him in the face. "You better think real carefully about what you're about to do!" Rico said as he got in the man's face. "If you don't get..." the man said as Rico cut him off. "Or what!" Rico yelled as he pushed the man causing his men to run over and began beating on him. "We're eating that one first!" The man yelled as he watched his men all beat on Rico. "Stop!" Mason yelled as he was cut off by the man placing a pistol in his face. "Wait your turn!" The man yelled as he continued to watch the beating. "Arthur! At ease!" A voice yelled as the man and his men stopped what they were doing and quickly turned to face the voice. "You motherfucker.." Mason whispered to himself as he looked over to see Nate walking down a flight of stairs. He then walked up to Mason who began shaking his head in disbelief. "Mason I know this looks ba.." Nate said as he was cut off by Mason. "Fuck you!" Mason yelled as he spit at Nate who slowly wiped the saliva off his face. "Lock them up." Nate said calmly as he looked over at Chloe who was giving him a face of disbelief while still holding her arm. "Except her! Take her to the clinic for her arm and make sure she gets the best treatment, I want my soon to be top soldier to be at her best! Nate yelled as his men began dragging the group away. "What friend you are! I hope you rot you fucking traitor." Chloe said angrily as Nate's men began dragging her away. Nate looked down at the ground allowing Chloe's words to echo in his head until he looked at Mason who gave him an angry look. "How could you sit here and let These men do this to us? Do you even care Bro talk to me!" Mason yelled as Nate ignored him. "I should ask you the same." Nate said calmly as Mason gave a confused look. "You never came back for us" He let out as he signaled his people to continue dragging the group away. "You okay?" Arthur asked as he stood behind Nate who continued to stare at the ground. "Tell my cousin I need a word with him now!" Nate demanded as Arthur nodded and began walking behind the group being dragged. Eventually the Men stop at a shipping container. "One by one we want you to each walk in!" One of the men yelled as the group began to line up. "Welcome to The Oasis your new home until your new jobs are finished!" He yelled as each member slowly walked into the carrier. The door slammed behind them causing the inside to become pitch black. "Gabriel try to look for a way out! Chris I need you guys to try to find something in here flammable that we could use as a light while I try to clean up Rico's wounds." Mason demanded as everyone nodded and began doing there assigned tasks. After a while the group was unsuccessful until a voice whispered out. "We might have something that can help you guys." It said as the group blindly looked around. "Here" they say calmly as an object could be heard hitting the ground. Mason walked over and began feeling around until eventually running his hand across what seemed to be a small twig and a shoe lace. "Chris you still have that ball of tissue that you use to clean your glasses?" Mason asked as Chris began looking through his pockets eventually finding the tissue. "Yeah but why?" He asked as Mason quickly snatched it and began tying the tissue to the end of the twig with the shoelace. "What the hell are you doing?" Rico asked as he watched Mason eventually craft a makeshift torch. "It's obviously a torch" Chris said sarcastically as Rico pushed him. "It's obviously about to be an ass whopping if you don't shut up!" Rico yelled angrily as Chris smirked. "Chris! You can piss him off later but right now we need to get out of here." Mason said jokingly as he pulled out a pack of matches that he had hidden in his socks. "They probably stink" Rico said jokingly as Chris laughed loudly as mason held a match up to the tissue. "Seriously? Right now you two? Here goes nothing!" Mason yelled as he eventually got the end of the torch to ignite revealing two figures seen laying on the ground across from them. "Who are you?!" Mason asked as he noticed one was missing a leg. "I'm Isaiah and she's Danika" The legless boy said as He was helped up by Rico. "What happened to your leg? Gabriel asked as the group annoyingly looked over at him. "Really?" Chris asked as Isaiah smiled. "It's fine. Those animals took it and made me watch them all eat it in front of me." Isaiah explained as Mason quickly walked over and began analyzing the wound. "How long has this been exposed?" Mason asked as the smell of decay filled the air when he uncovered the wound. "Days maybe. We've been just sitting here withering in our own filth." Isaiah explained as Mason looked closely to see maggots squirming inside the open wound next to it was a fresh walker bite. "Shit." Mason said to himself aloud as Danika looked at mason concerned. "Is he going to be ok?" She asked as she frowned. "I don't know how to put this but he's been bitten." Mason said calmly as tears poured down Danika's face as she began hugging Isaiah tightly. "I'm sorry.." Mason said as he gave Isaiah a look of sadness at which he tried to hide with a smile. "Isaiah? Do you remember when this all started, What we said we'd do if one of us got infected?" Danika asked as she looked her friend in the eyes. "Yea" Isaiah said as he looked down. "Can you give us a moment alone?" Danika asked as mason nodded and the group walked to the other side of the trailer. "i need to tell you something! Something important." Isaiah said calmly as he breathed heavily. "Of course" Danika said calmly as she smiled at him. "I've been bitten for a few days now. It happened the last time they took me out I just didn't want you to worry that's why I never said anything." Isaiah said this time letting tears out himself. Danika looked at his leg and then back at him. "What the fuck he's been bitten this whole time and we're supposed to just stay in here and wait until he turns? Hell no I'm gonna put him down before he turns and bites one of us!" Rico shouted as Mason and Chris held him back. "He's still alive!" Mason yelled as Danika nodded. "But I know how we can get out of here! If we try to tell them that he's bit then there gonna have to come in here and remove him and that's when we escape." Mason explained as everyone but Danika nodded. "So we're making my boyfriend a sacrifice? Are you nuts? No way!" She yelled as she gave an angry look. "It's either him or us! Ik this choice is hard but You're life means more right now!" Mason explained. "No way! Isaiah I won't let them.." Danika said sadly as she was cut off by a kiss from Isaiah. "It's ok! I'm ready." Isaiah said confidently as he smiled and looked at his leg and over at Mason and the others. Mason then nodded and walked over to the door of the began banging on it. "Hey! We got an infected person in here!" Mason yelled as he looked over at Chris who nodded. "Please help!" Chris yelled as the two banged on the steel door. "Rico Help us!" Mason demanded as He and Chris stared at Rico who turned away. " "You won't catch me Begging anyone for shit!" Rico yelled as the two stopped banging and looked back at him. "We need your help!" Mason yelled as the trio began arguing. Isaiah began purposely screaming in pain. "Come on Rico if you don't we'll end up as walker bait." Mason explained as Rico reluctantly nodded and ran over to bang on the door. A couple minutes of banging passed until someone banged on the other side. "Stand clear of the door and line up at the other end of the trailer! Anyone who resist will be shot now move!" The voice yelled as everyone walked to the other side except Rico who stood still. A man then walked in holding a rifle. "Who's infected?" He asked as everyone pointed to Isaiah who raised his hand. The man then raised his rifle and fired a shot piercing Isaiah's head instantly killing him. "Move where your friends are or your next" He asked as he approached Rico who stood his ground still staring at the man. He then raised his gun at Rico who smiled. "Something funn.." The man said intensely as he was cut off by Rico slashing his neck open with a butterfly knife. "Don't you stupid asses know to check your captives before you lock them away? This is pretty nice gun you got there would be a shame if it went to waste." Rico said aggressively as he kicked the man off his knees and looked back at the group with a smile. "Don't ever make me beg again!" Rico demanded as mason and Chris nodded while still in shock. "Let's go before another patrol comes looking for him." Mason demanded as everyone began walking out the trailer except Danika who was holding Isaiah's lifeless body. "Danika I know this is hard but we have to go! Once we get back to our people we'll come back i promise! We'll even bury him." Mason explained as she still held Isaiah. "I heard yelling over in this direction!" A voice yelled as Mason looked over to see shadows running down the sidewalk. "He sacrificed himself for you! Staying here will mess up everything he did to save you! His death would be for nothing please come with us and live." Mason said calmly as Danika looked down at Isaiah and smiled giving him a kiss on the forehead before eventually closing his eyes and laying him down gently. "Alright let's go" She said confidently as she looked back at Isaiah one last time before following Mason out of the trailer. The two then caught up to Rico and Chris are seen in a shoot off with Nate's men. "What happened to a quiet escape?" Mason asked as he looked at his two allies. "Thought this was a better idea" Rico said as he returned fire at the men. The firing coming from the other stopped as Rico peeked his head up to see that all the men had been shot in the head. "What the hell?" Mason asked as the group all can out from cover and began cautiously walking toward the bodies. They approached the undead and noticed each one was a body shot. "You got a couple seconds before they come back!" A voice yelled out as Nate is seen staring at the group causing Rico to draw his rifle. "Wait!" Mason said as he signaled Rico to lower his weapon. "You sure? This asshole enslaved us!" Rico asked as he slowly glared at Nate. "Yea I got this!" Mason said calmly as Rico nodded and lowered his rifle. "I see your already looking for a new best friend I see!" Nate said as he looked at Chris and Rico. "It's not like that man I knew these two since before the fall we served together as teens." Mason explained as Nate shook his head. "I see! I never meant for you to get caught up In this. I never thought any of you would find this place. We thought you guys left us." Nate explained as he looked down. "It's ok bro we all make mistakes, That's what makes us human please do the right thing." Mason said as Nate looked down for a few seconds before walking over to a door eventually opening it. Chloe and Shauna then came running out. "Guys!" Chloe yelled as she ran over to the group Hugging each member before turning around and seeing Nate. "You fucking asshole!" Chloe said as mason grabbed her. "Chloe relax! He made a mistake and he's redeeming himself for the better." Mason explained as she nodded and looked angrily at Nate. "Here! There's a car parked at the corner of the factory." Nate explained as he tossed a pair of keys at mason letting out a smile until shots are fired towards him just barely missing. Gabriel is seen running towards the group until Rico rushes over to him quickly tackling him to the ground. "Come back with us everyone is back home waiting!" Mason yelled as Nate's men began reanimating. "I can't.." Nate said as his voice cracked and tears could be seen falling from his face. "We need to go now!" Chris yelled as he dragged Mason away from Nate who just in place watching the group run off. "Sir we have escaped prisoners and an undead breach what's the plan?!" One of his men yelled as he ran up to him. "Fall back on the prisoners! Kill the undead and Secure the trailers!" Nate demanded as the car could be seen driving through the gates and down the road. "See you again friend." Nate said to himself as he ran into a room behind his men.
